There's not much in this post to reply do. It's an infodump, but it's not dynamic or engaging. There's nothing really wrong with that unless you want people to engage with it.

I totally understand. Sometimes people have to take a break off of Random Banter or even off the internet to do offline leisure time.

RB's been around for so long that the earliest threads are lost to time*, I doubt it will die until the GitP forums do, and even then it may manage to migrate elsewhere.

Nobody ever explains things to kids when it would actually he help them. Like my dyspraxia? Only now been told I can get actual help with organisation for it, because people like to leave that element of it when you're also autistic.

Individual Education Plan.

Basically, a student who is considered disabled will sometimes be given a list of accommodations to help they function in school. For example, I was given time and a half on all assignments(the one time I needed to use it, however, I was denied it and in hindsight, the teacher was obviously lying about having cleared it,) was not to have my seat moved or reassigned, I was permitted to keep my backpack with me, and so on.

In the united states, it is a violation of federal law to deny someone these accommodations and most states also have it as a matter of state law. Now, you can't go straight to court, there's a process you have to go through, but if you escalate it all the way to the top and the school stills refusing to give you the accommodations they agreed to, state and federal courts can get involved.

And nobody told me the options I had available to me to enforce my rights. I had to learn it from a video on Youtube of a guy narrating revenge stories from Reddit.

Gonna be an expensevie month. While on holiday (in which I did nothing but read, walk and meditate, save for about an hour faffing with BattleTech pdfs on my tablet - didn't even touch Pokémon, which is normally my Abersoch staple) I bought a new backpack (because it was £55 (instead of £120) and looked more convincing than the last one whicvh those of you with excewptional memories might remember me looking for just befor ethe lockdown adn =thus which is still unused), and I got back to have to fork out 132 quid for the subscription to my image hosting service (for the next three years, mind) - and probably going to be the better pasrt of £60-70 a year to get cloud storage as off-sight back-up, by the time I get that sorted... This on top of the splurging I'm doing on BattleTech (which is probably £130 again, plus I'm three-quarters planning on spending even more), but frack it, I kind of need something to do at the moment (having so cruelly only finished 3.Aotrs to basically likely not be able to play for months yet, probably not even going to get my birthday party this year), else I'll go completely mad and in an entirely unfunny fashion.
