Feat: Draconic breath Weapon

Ok, I have a couple questions regarding the Draconic Breath Weapon feat in the Complete arcane.

First. If I have the feat Precocious Apprentice, at lv 1. Can I use the spell slot granted by it for the breath weapon?

second. If I use the Radiant dragon from the draconomicon, do i shoot a line of force or the cone of light?

I don't see why not.

Radiant dragon isn't in the list of dragon types to choose from for the draconic heritage, so you'd have to come up with something either way.

That said, you'd likely use the line of force. You get the hit-point-damage versions of the listed metallic dragons' breath weapons even though they all have an alternative breath weapon too, so I imagine this would be the same.
