What are the good forum-hosting websites nowadays?
It can't be Reddit, because Reddit threads' tree-like structure is really not what I'm looking for. I need a traditional forum (like this one) where posts are in chronological order and where threads get "bumped" by new posts.
Back in the halcyon days of the 2000's, I was a member of a couple of Invisionfree forums, but apparently it no longer exists.Last edited by -Sentinel-; 2020-07-24 at 03:32 PM.

Re: What are the good forum-hosting websites nowadays?
There are a couple other forums I visit powered by phpBB. My wife has some writing forums she frequents that also use that format. They work pretty much like the GitP forums. Here's a link to an example, The Piazza.

I really like NodeBB, Vanilla Forums, and Discourse.
