    Default Sluggish Forum Loading

The forums have become sluggish and intermittently unresponsive today, starting from approx. 1200 EST and continuing with frequent server overloads. I can only rarely manage to access subforums and threads.

May be a continuation of the previous issues; see this thread.

I have also been seeing the problem in the East Coast of the US in probably a similar time frame. I want to say I first noticed it about 12:30 EDT, but I am not sure. It seems to have cleared up. I got a combination of error 500s and the "the server is too busy, please try again later" pages.

My initial guess is that the remnants of hurricane Isaias being over New York contributed, but I don't know where the primary server for GitP is actually located.

Edit: While this may be the same issue rearing its head again, I haven't seen it in the last week (which doesn't mean it hasn't happened).

I have been getting internal Server 500 errors and server is too busy errors since I got up at about 2 PM CST. I'm in Indiana if that affects anything.

Been getting "Internal Server Error 500" messages a lot this evening *counted 9 so far, over not quite 3 hours).
Mostly when clicking directlz onto an UnderForum Link like the 3.5 Forum in Roleplaing or the Media Forum on the main page).
A neutron walks into a bar and says, “How much for a beer?” The bartender says, “For you? No charge.”

Later: An atom walks into a bar an asks the bartender “Have you seen an electron? I left it in here last night.” The bartender says, “Are you sure?” The atom says, “I’m positive.”

I've been seeing this issue intermittently last night and this morning. I'm on the East Coast using Firefox, and this is the first I've seen this issue in the past 30 days.

At this point it's only sporadic for me, but in previous instances the issue became progressively worse over several days.

I'm beginning to have increasing problems accessing the site, with many 502 errors. It took me several login attempts just to reach this thread. These are the same issues that occurred earlier this year, following the same progression at roughly the same rate.
