    The number of spider webs continues to increase, but many of the spiders seem to be missing while the rest are so small that you couldn't even call them "monstrous."

    In the distance ahead, however, you note that the terrain changes somewhat drastically as the amount of webbing increases...

    Iriander knows that spider webs aren't actually flammable. They will melt and shrivel up when exposed to heat, but they don't typically catch fire. It can catch on fire, but everything around it will catch long before it does.

    Upon seeing the webbing get drastically thicker, Ssrask leapt down from the tree. His wings allowing him to fall any distance without any damage. He fell in line with the trio.

    “Okay, well, that’s a nightmare-scape,” Iriander says with fake cheer. “So I have some old torches I could maybe relight and we could use the fire to burn the worst of it away. The webs are fresh, so they won’t even set fire to the trees.”

    Iriander kneels down to gather some twigs and leaves to start a small fire. He takes out one of his old torches and hopes that it’s still good for some use.

    Iriander offers one of the torches to Ssrask if he’d like it. If he doesn’t take it, he gives it to Berserker.

    “Berserker, keep an eye out for spiders.”

    The summon dutifully looks around the area for signs of spiders. If he says he does not see any, Iriander starts to melt the webs on the ground to start making a sort-of path.

    You torch away the webbing, and the occasional normal size spider flees the fire. A few aren't quick enough and are trapped as the web melts around then, soon succumbing to the flame.

    You manage to progress about ten feet before Berserker waves wildly, and you look up to see a horde of spiders emerging from the webs around the tree.

    You immediately see (4d6)[9] tiny monstrous spiders, but that doesn't seem to be the end of the swarm.

    The summon nods, taking up a position 5ft behind Ssrask. If any of the spiders manage to close in with him, Berserker attempts to cut them down. Iriander and his wolf, for their part, set up behind Berserker and ready themselves to defend.

    The aura needs line of effect. So, only about half of the spiders are in the aura's effect at the start of their last turn.
