    Default Godslave: Egyptian mythology shenanigans

Anyone else here reading Godslave? The story is about Edith, a girl who visits a museum about ancient Egyptian civilization, and accidentally breaks open a 2000 year old jar containing a talking fox who claims to be Anubis. Edith then finds herself in the middle of a conflict between the gods.

I read and like Godslave for a while now, maybe a year already. It has a comparably solid update scheme, and I feel like it moves on kinda slow, but I like Alma. Edith too of course, but I can't really get behind her personality.

I think Alma's personality stands out more than Edith's. Maybe "stands out" aren't the right words, but I can't think of better ones. Edith seems like she is written to be more of a "normal person who has weird stuff happen to her
