Hard refresh page to reload images?
This used to be an easy feature in Firefox, where you just had to press Ctrl+F5 and it was done. It hasn't been working for me for years, but I still see it being listed on various pages as the correct solution.
Currently I'm on Fedora 30 with Firefox 76.0.
Any idea how I can just hard refresh a single page without having to manually delete the entire Firefox cache? We are not standing on the shoulders of giants, but on very tall tower of other dwarves.

Re: Hard refresh page to reload images?
Ctrl+F5 works fine for me in Firefox (currently on version 79.0 here), not sure why it wouldn't be for you?

Re: Hard refresh page to reload images?
If you press shift+F9 you can open up the dev-tools that allow you to delete cache, cookies, etc
BTW ctrl+F5 works fine for me too. Something is up with your computer probablyBlack text is for sarcasm, also sincerity. You'll just have to read between the lines and infer from context like an animal

Shift-clicking the reload button in the address bar is another way to do a hard refresh.

Re: Hard refresh page to reload images?
Then maybe my problem isn't with the cache and something with my website.
But thanks. We are not standing on the shoulders of giants, but on very tall tower of other dwarves.

Re: Hard refresh page to reload images?
Try Ctrl+R next time. That is how I refresh.

Re: Hard refresh page to reload images?
On Chrome, if you right click -> inspect to open the developer console, you can then click and hold the reload button to get additional options: Normal Reload, Hard Reload, Empty Cache and Hard Reload. Those options only appear if the developer console is open though.
