We have recently discovered a method of launching small devices that we call arrows across long distances. We have since retrofitted our sling bands with these new stronger and lighter weapons as we search for parts to our J-type 327 Nubian.

Any who are discovered in possession of my queen's sovereign property and refuse to return the sacred parts to us will pay in a torrential downpour of arrows.

So it looks like my start is far weaker than I had initially assumed, I'm situated on a thin strip of green between desert and tundra. Quite unusual to have the two so close, and that might be the biggest desert I have seen yet. I guess Shuffle did that.



Earth Goddess was already taken, I guess by someone who met a religious city state. I took Lady of the Reeds and Marshes instead to put a city here and make a play for the Petra. Would be a wickedly strong one. Already got an envoy with Taruga and Hattusa wants me to construct a campus, that early science boost should allow me to reach Mathematics faster than other players and hopefully secure that wonder.

The smugglers now sit within the forest, hunkered down while our Nubian Security Bureau officers approach them to arrest them. You are hereby accused of conspiracy against the Grand Crown of Nubia. You shall vacate your title and all land associated with it and come with the NSB to stand trial in MRË to answer for your smuggling.

I suggest you come peaceably. We wouldn't want any accidents to happen en route to MRË, would we?

The Nubian Security Bureau has recently discovered evidence that she is supporting smugglers who carry our desired parts for our J-type 327 Nubian. As such, we have deployed the NSB to take the princess into custody so that she might stand trial for her crimes. We suggest you do not attempt to interfere.

We shall likely be forced into a temporary siege of the city Arabia shall create (unless the settler gets deleted to deny me the chance). After that, we march for a swift victory on Arabia's southern capital. I anticipate this will be a quick skirmish.

The latest update to Civ 6 seems to have broken something for me, the launcher button is just greyed out. I'm still fiddling with it, but there's some Reddit threads with the same issue and nobody has a fix yet.

EDIT: Never mind, managed to get it to work. Also, did somebody get killed already? This game is more brutal than I expected.

I'd say it has been a good game folks, but my start was flat practically featureless plains as far as the eye can see, just minimally good enough to not feel justified in a restart, but still absolutely awful.

Since she is playing Bull Moose Teddy, she won't even get the continent bonus.

It appears she has Victor stationed at the city she settled adjacent to NSB, so that'll slow me down for a bit. But unless she gets walls up quick, I doubt that will stop my advance.

I've currently got 8 Pitati archers. Looks like she's got about 4-5 warriors (one of which is hiding near MRE) and at least one archer. I've also just learned that 3 unpromoted Pitatis can one-shot a Tortoise promoted warrior, so that should give me quite the advantage.

LA will not be long for this world. I see Lentrax is trying to wall up, but based on how quickly my Pitali are chewing through her archers and the city, I should be able to conquer it before they go up. Still, I switched to building a battering ram in NSB so my warriors can help with the other cities.

Since I am in a Golden Age, I took Exodus of the Evangelicals to go for first religion. Might play a religious victory game if my domination stalls out.

Big oof. I'm pretty chill about war, but I understand the sentiment. Nubian archer rushes are... possible to deal with, but you pretty much have to be working on that defense from turn 1. Sorry this one was a bust for you.

Oh, geez, yeah, I can very much understand and sympathise. That's one of the problems I've found, unfortunately. That it's very hard for everyone to have fun all the way through, which sucks.
