    Default Inside other vampire's heads?

Do you think we'll ever see what it looked like inside other vampire's heads, like the Exarch, Malack or Ponchula?
I drank some stuff from a drain and it drove me insane.

They’re dead and I fail to see what the point of that would be.

Anyway it most likely was about the same as inside Durkon’s except for Malack’s whose original host went dormant some two centuries before.

(I do hope that later on in the wrap up, we do get to see that last vampire cornered and destroyed by the various dwarves who knew she'd gotten away, but that's a priority lower than Ian and friends doing Tarquin in).

I can see one for Malack if there is a prequel about them.

Unlikely, sans Malack if there's a Vector Legion prequel book.
It probably all looks like Greg's head, just with a different person. I wonder if Malack's person is stuck and comatose, or if they vanish after going dormant?

That would probably be rather depressing. Durkon was faring reasonably well because he has an iron will and a purpose. With the other trapped souls I'd expect a lot of despair and crying, which wouldn't be very pleasant to watch.

That's a good point - aside from Ponchula, it'd probably be a much darker interaction than would fit the setting. Malack could talk to his dormant soul while sifting through memories but that would be very difficult to guess how it's done.

Now I kind of wish Ponchula had gotten away so we could have a side-story with her joining an evil adventuring party ("Planar Group"?) and having Evil roommate talk with her soul.

From the one line that remotely touches on the subject, Malack mentions that if resurrected, he'd be back to his old lizardman shaman self. Not a lizardman cleric who views himself as a temporarily disadvantaged vampire. That implies that the old soul is still around in some distinct sense, even if it is essentially comatose.

Doesn’t really make a difference as far as Malack is concerned.

Durkon did absorb all of Durkon*’s memories eventually, which contradicts that. Unless that was due to Durkon Durkonifying Durkon*

Malack was two hundred years old and the memory absorption process usually last a few months, with the bulk of it happening in the three days before the raising. By the time Tarquin was born, Malack was done with the unnamed serpentfolk shaman and any memory he’d have had would be utterly out-of-date.

Even though I doubt that we will peer into his head in a Vector Legion prequel, I don't see it too unlikely that we could see Malack's transformation.

I'm thinking more just either "rune stuff" or "Malack is going through his own memories, not the shaman's, and is making slightly morbid conversation with the shaman's soul about his opinion".
