Hatano damages one of the still-flying sprites, drawing its attention, despite Felix's taunts.
Sword still in hand, but covered with fluffy snow, Majid stands back up. He can do little else but curse the flickering buggers.
Arcatek launches a small crossbow bolt into the distance, critically hitting a falling snowflake.
    Sprite 2 misses Hatano with a micro-arrow.
Sprite 3, with a little cover from the tree vs. A, H and R, instead shoots at the mysterious javelin-thrower. It hits for 1 hp, no staggering.

    Current hp:
    Arcatek (18/20)
Majid (3/9) and no longer staggered
    Raydine (8/10)
    Felix (11/12)
    Buttercup (Max-1)
    New Guy (10/11)

    Everyone may go.

You would have to wait and see what the spell is, who it targeted and if they attacked a friend and by then your turn would be over. So no. Next round, I think.

The strange newcomer casts a spell. Raydine performs gloriously. Majid gets defensive. Hatano debarks a bit of the tree branch. Arcatek, not getting the inspiration, fires anyway and hits the branch. Felix unhooks the sled and remounts his horse. Sprite 2 shoots a micro arrow at the newcomer and moves into a better cover position, out of sight of Hatano and Arcatek. She hits him for another point of damage, but no staggering. Sprite 3 surprisingly draws a tiny sword and smacks Sprite 2 in the back. But the weapon bounces off and they both seem angry at what has happened.

    Current hp:
    Arcatek (18/20)

    Raydine (8/10)
    Felix (11/12)

They have pretty good cover from Raydine's angle. Arcatek can't even line up a shot, so moves up a little and loads the crossbow again.
The two sprites, given the choice of Majid bobbing and weaving and the half-orc throwing javelins, decide that the half-orc is the best target. One misses badly, but the other puts a micro-arrow in the newcomer's shoulder. (Save vs. staggering was successful.)

When the massive bursts of color hit Raydine she staggers a bit, but is otherwise unharmed. But the sensory overload was upsetting her and her stomach begins to violently growl. Her mouth begins to water massively and she begins to chant frantically. Nononononono... Hurgh!

The acid damages the sprite and turns its flashing light to a sickly neon green. It resists the daze spell and dodges the javelin, however. It fires its tiny arrow at Majid, but misses. The one in the branches does hit him with an arrow, doing one damage, but not staggering him.

Raydine felt sick and miserable after belching at the damn little annoying fairy thing but it seems it still wasn't enough. She had the urge to just lay down and get finished, with the growing pain in her gut making her feel even more miserable. But there was still more going on and she just couldn't lay still. Her mouth felt burnt so she couldn't raise her voice to bolster herself and her allies but she still had the liquid she buy'd in the town. She took a sip. The bitter liquid filling her mouth, but it wasn't half bad, sloshing away some of the acidy taste that lingered on her tongue. She spit it out at the lights that had changed color and she hoped she could at least hit the damn thing.

Raydine wasn't bothered by the height of the newcomer though his words were a bit puzzling.

I'm sorry as I said we found out about this unnatural winter and perhaps want to find a way to stop it. We also search for a fair lady that may have been abducted? Have you perhaps seen her?

Hatano's gruesome collection of parts does remind her of something.

Oh Majid, you're alright? Wait, we had another spell scribed on that scroll here.

I fear we only have Hatano's scroll remaining after that.

    Raydine faces the newcomer again.

If this is truly your land, you care to help us with these pesky fairy invasion? I'm sure the people of Heldren would be thankful and if you help us it should benefit you too.

It didn't matter for Raydine if the newcomer really hold these lands or if he just thought he did. If he could help them it was enough for now and talking about that could be done later.
