Default Old Module B10- Night's Dark Terror. Anyone ran it? Any opinions/ reviews?

So... with the strange times we're having, I found a stash od old D&D modules (The Red box and so on), and on my little free time, started reading them. Partly for Nostalgia's sake, and partly because I'm always looking for inspiration.

Most are... meh... Keep on The Border lands is interesting, but is well known. However, I was quite surprised at B10- Night's Dark Terror! It is more like a small adventure arc. It has very good pacing, and a good mix between pivotal adventure sites and sandbox exploration of a sort, and some interesting ideas, sites and concepts. In short, though it may have a few snags, on the whole it reads preaty great! The organization of the module is also quite good. It was very clear, and I barely needed to check anything twice (other than some... odd simple miscalculations, like number of horses to sell, and number o skeletons in one hall)

Also, a bucketload of maps at the end...

Of the old modules, I don't remember this one mentioned... at all... which suprises me.

But how an adventure reads, and how it plays out, differs many times. So, has anyone played it? Anyone ran it? Anything in particular you remember was good? Bad? Anything you'd change?

    Thanks in advance,
    Kol.

I don't own it, nor have I played through it. I've heard a lot of good things about it, though.

Here's a Review that might be helpful.

Another good review is from Gundobad Games. The review is broken into two posts and includes notes on how they ran it. I can't include a link because my account here is new (I created it to reply to this thread), but if you google "Gundobadgames B10" it should pop up near the top.

I ran it back in the late eighties and i thought it was pretty great. One of my favorite modules at the time. It is a mini-campaign all by itself. I ran it with the BECMI rules at the time.

I also pulled out some of the ideas and encounters and used them again in an AD&D 2nd edition campaign with a different group in the late nineties. So you could say I've run parts of it twice.

I've been considering running it again with my current group as a 5E adventure, actually. It's that good.
