"Did you want to?" Lana asked. "We could call him over."

Taara mumbled back and forth with herself before deciding. "Uh, sure." she continued frantically "But to be sure this does not necessarily mean anything, um, liking people wise?"

[Xihirli]

"You mean for like... courting? No, not necessarily,", Lana assured. "Zarron!" she called.

[Zergrinch]

The kiss leaves Zarron dumbstruck and he mutters out a "Y-you're w-welcome!" as a blush appears on his face. Then, his rational mind takes over as he watches Taara glance daggers in his direction. So when Lana calls him, he is filled with much dread and trepidation as to the possible physical pain that the monk will inflict on him in a jealous rage.

"Y-y-yes?" he squeaks out.

Taara stands up and goes over to him, looking at his face close up (tiptoeing to do so), looking it over for the exact spot where Lana kissed him. Her face is blank as she does so, then she pulls back and speaks, looking up at him. "Thank you again for giving Lana replacement clothes." she tiptoes up and tries to kiss him on the cheek, if he bends down to let her. "Thank you," she said again before running back to Lana.

"Did I do it right?"

[Xihirli]

Lana kissed Taara happily. "You did wonderfully!"

[Gluteus_Maximus]

Taara smiled and kissed Lana back, followed by a hug. "Thank you!"

[Zergrinch]

Zarron did not move as Taara approaches him. In fact, he is stiff as a board.

He remains just as stiff during and after her kiss.

"What just happened?" the bard looks very very confused.

[Izzarra]

The trap triggers as Ghiso approaches to remove it, he spends a few seconds running away in fear before returning. With the trap spent for the day he is able to begin removing it from the wall.

As Zarron comes down with one of the last loads he notices that there is purple smoke rising from the cart.

The donkey is looking disturbed.

All of the magical vials are still up in the lab.

Zarron looks for the source of the smoking, and will throw out whatever is causing it.

[Izzarra]

Green and blue flames begin to billow up from the cart and the purple smoke is joined by some other colors as Zarron pulls some of the items out of the cart.

Zarron yelps in dismay, and wrapping his hands in spare cultist robes, and starts tossing out anything that is emitting fire and smoke far away from the cart.

[Xihirli]

Lana gasped. "Are you okay, Zarron!?" she shrieked.

[Izzarra]

Glass shatters as Zarron tosses things aside in an effort to get to the source of the fire but it becomes apparent that the majority of the contents are on fire at this point.

The donkey panics and begins running down the path taking the cart and Zarron with it.

Sparks begin to shoot out like fireworks.

"HELP! FIRE! FIRE!"

The embattled bard tries the opposite tact, and tosses out anything that is NOT burning in a last ditch attempt to save it.

Lana looked out the window and made a decision. She leapt down, transforming into a majestic draft horse and galloping up to the next floor to LEAP from the shattered window!

Taara watches the commotion from the smashed open window.

[Izzarra]

Zarron begins tossing equipment that is not damaged out of the cart as it heads towards the small cliff where the ice golem used to be standing.

Taara sees Lana run through the door, transform into a horse, and promptly get stuck in the spiral stairwell.

Random trivia: the reason why spiral stairwells are common in old fire stations is that horses are incapable of climbing them. The horses the pulled the fire carts would try to climb the stairs.

"A-Ah! Lana!" she runs over and pats her. "Quickly, turn back, you might make the floor collapse!"

[Xihirli]

Lana let out a distressed neigh and clopped over to Taara, trying to get pets to make herself feel better.

[Gluteus_Maximus]

Taara sighed and resigned to petting horse Lana.

[Zergrinch]

Zarron chokes on the fumes, but managed to stay on the cart and make his way on top of the mule.

Zarron's attempt to calm the animal are ignored as it charges forwards towards the cliff. At this speed, with the cart it tow, it is unlikely that it will be able to turn the corner safely.

The cliff is 40 ft away. Zarron has one turn left
Cutting the donkey free with a dagger is an action.

[Zergrinch]

Running out of options, Zarron tries to cut the harness tying the mule to the cart, and does his best to steer the animal from the cliff.

[Izzarra]

The donkey tries to take the corner but is unable to get completely free of the cart.

Going around the corner the cart pitches sideways rolling over the cliff taking the donkey and Zarron with it into the air.

The cart falls to the ground below breaking apart and throwing up a ball of fire.

Zarron can use feather fall on himself and the donkey if he is able to.

Lana nuzzled Taara's face with her horse snout. HORSE KISS!

[Zergrinch]

Zarron screams as he and the mule plummet over the cliff. Fortunately, he instinctively casts the same utility spell that saved him the previous day.

Reaction: Cast Feather Fall on self and mule. A falling creature’s rate of descent slows to 60 feet per round until the spell ends. If the creature lands before the spell ends, it takes no falling damage and can land on its feet, and the spell ends for that creature.

"Ah! That tickles, Lana!" she stroked her sweetheart's horse neck and kissed the size of her horse face.

[Izzarra]

Zarron and the donkey fly off the cliff separating from the cart and with Zarron's spell they land safely on their feet. This does nothing to to calm the donkey which runs off.

The cart wreckage smolders at the base of the cliff with a line of broken glassware and assorted equipment lining the trail back to the tower.

[Zergrinch]

Completely ignoring the cart, Zarron give chase to the donkey before it gets into any more trouble!
