[Zergrinch]

" No, it's nothing. It's just... Umm... Makeup. Yeah. I'm, uh, just playing a prank on you..." Zarron says in the most unconvincing and monotone mumbles he could make.

[Fay]

Rose quietly nods in the background. "If that is the case, it should be easy to prove by just trying to remove it, right?" She didn't want to intervene further for now but regardless of if the injuries were real or not, this felt like it'd speed up the process of getting to the right answer.

[Valmark]

"Zarron, you don't need to lie to us" Ghiso said with unshakeable trust in his friend "If someone hurt you we could help you. Who were they?"

[Xihirli]

"Did someone hurt you?" Lana asked. "Oh no! Who?"

[Gluteus_Maximus]

Taara just stood with Lana and chuckled a little bit, then looked at her and kissed her on the cheek. She noticed Rose and ran over to her hugging her around the waist. "Hello, Rose." she said to her, then backed off "S-sorry, I learned about hugging recently and it is one of my favorite things."

[Fay]

Rose smiled at Taara. "It's okay, I don't mind. I'm a bit worried about what's up with Zarron but I also don't really want to intrude too much when I don't know what the...established dynamics? are. I guess what I'm trying to say is I still feel like an outsider."

[Zergrinch]

"Zarron, you don't need to lie to us" Ghiso said with unshakeable trust in his friend "If someone hurt you we could help you. Who were they?"

"Nobody hurt me, I'm just wearing make-up." Zarron replies, fighting the urge to laugh.

He finishes breakfast, pays the price, and starts to head back to his room.

[Xihirli]

Lana hugged Zarron. "You didn't let me hug you. Come here." She smiled for a bit. "I'm so glad you're okay!"

[Valmark]

"We should at least check his wounds" Ghiso said, still believing he's actually wounded, although he was starting to frown "Lanitfat, think you can do that?" he had biology knowledge but no medical training, after all.

[Zergrinch]

Zarron accepts the hug but does his level best to ensure that his face doesn't touch her clothes at all, and smear them with the makeup he applied.

[Xihirli]

"What wounds?" Lana asked, and she kissed him on the cheek. "So how are you really feeling?"

[Zergrinch]

Zarron starts panicking when he sees some of the makeup on Lana's lips.

"P-please, not in front of Taara. She'll kill me!" he hisses, while taking out his handkerchief and wiping the evidence on her lips with it. He dabs the kissed area for good measure.

"There was some dirt on my face, but now it's gone," he gives her the explanation that even he doesn't believe.

With his free hand, the bard reaches into his makeshift component pouch and pulls out an eyelash which was encased in gum arabic.

[Valmark]

"Oh" Ghiso said, seeing the 'wound' change "So it was fake" he stated, looking relieved "I should've trusted you when you said it was nothing, my bad. Glad you're alright- that's a pretty well done mask, I must say"

Zarron sighs. He puts the components back into the pouch and straightens himself up.

"And I had you going too," he pouts. "So, who is she?" he points at the paladin. "Is she coming with us?"

[Valmark]

"Where you doing it on purpose?" Ghiso asked looking confused "And assuming you refer to the one persone you wouldn't yet know she's Rose. Taara and Lanitfat met her while... Actually I'm not sure when. Anyway she came with us to help you, from what I understood. There was talk of her coming with us but I'm unaware of what outcome did they reach" he mused, then turned to Rose "Did you reach a decision eventually?"

[Fay]

"I think I'll come with you, yes. At least for the time being."

[Xihirli]

"Yay!" Lana tackled Rose with a hug. "Where are we going again?"

[Valmark]

"Back to Tamor" Ghiso said "I believe that once that's done Taara has a map to follow"

[Zergrinch]

"Does she know what we were up against? The leader was able to escape."

Zarron goes on to try to scare Rose by showing her a grisly tableau of the dead dwarves and the desecrated lake with all the bodies inside it, via Minor Illusion.

[Gluteus_Maximus]

Taara didn't actually seem to care when Zarron was getting hugged and kissed by Lana. Or it could have been that she wasn't paying attention, as she didn't notice him change out of the injuries she definitely thought he had. She joined in to tackle-hug Rose, then nodded to Ghiso and pulled out the map, pointing at the marks where the other locations are. She stepped in front of the illusion. "That was then. We are stronger now; and by Trunksplitter's victory knots I will not let them slip away this time. In addition, we have Rose." she smiled at her then walked over to Ghiso.

As she passed him, she spoke quietly. "I know I said we would... talk... about things as soon as possible, but then we went straight to... well, rest. The rest of you all sleep. On the road to Tamor I should tell you. I am sorry again."

[Valmark]

"Don't worry" Ghiso smiled at Taara whispering back "We were all tired and Zarron wasn't there anyway, it wasn't the best time"

[Fay]

Rose smiled back at Taara and nodded. Not wanting to interrupt the current conversation she sat silent for now.

[Izzarra]

After getting back to the city from the island Rose talks to the local fisherman about the herring. There is a bit of a bidding war and she walks away with 50 gold for the prize fish.

[Valmark]

When everybody was ready to leave the inn Ghiso proposed to head first to Honest Yuri- there was an item that given their recent fights would be useful.

When (if) they reached him Ghiso waved at Yuri, presenting himself anew.
"Maybe you remember me from yesterday, I sold the rune to you. We came here to sell some other things... And if you still have that sword of warning we'd be interested in buying it" he said, before showing what he wanted to sell.

"Of course honest Yuri remembers valued customer, like mammoth Yuri never forget. The warning sword, is over here and still for sale."

He examines the potions you brought.

"Potion of ooze breathing, very useful in extremely specific instance. Buyer might be hard to find, will see."

"These" he picks up an unstable potion a few times seeing it stabilize in several different colors "interesting, but not much value as they are now. Sell to eccentric wizard perhaps."

Rose spoke up. "Can a wizard or alchemist or someone like that change those potions to be more reliable?"

[Zergrinch]

Zarron is like a kid in a candy shop and starts looking through everything that is on display and loudly speculating what it does.

"Hey mister," Zarron points to the dagger of healing, "how does this work? Do you stab someone to heal them?"

Lana heard about a sword of warning and talked to the nearest sword. "Do you think anything bad will happen?" she asked it.
