I'm really tempted to move my vote to Cap or Xihirli just to make a tie. I have no basis for which though. I guess I usually assume Xihirli is evil so let's vote Captain Cap to try to get some discussion going.

I guess I'll be the one to vote Xihirli, then. Let's have a mexican standoff.

gac3 wanted to make a tie with rogue_alchemist's wagon, and the choices were me or Xihirli.
Xihirli voted me to avoid being at the top, and likely choose me because... well, I voted her first.

Personally, I don't see anything particularly suspicious about this.

Your problem is that I'm awkward? I just got on Monday morning and found like 3 different places gac3 had posted looking for the game thread and then when I came to the game he was complaining about having to find it the hard way. It seemed over-eager to me. If you haven't noticed from the past 2-3 times a game has started and I do RNG, I like to have the RNG choose someone then add a reason to the post as well because RNG by itself seems weak and stupid.

Also the vote count is messed up because I misformated my last post with my vote on Xi. I have gone back and corrected all that, but I have training for work today and can't go back to recount. I am around in a limited capacity if I am needed for something. I am town with a provable role that I will gladly help test tonight if someone wants me to use it on them or if there is a watcher that wants to see what I do and what the consequences are.

Also, when Day ends, I plan on writing something like the below:

Person With Votes: list of who voted for them (Total Vote # votes)
e.g.,

The # votes will reflect the total after any vote manipulation, and thus will not necessarily equal to the number of people in the list. So you will get evidence that vote manipulation occurred, but (in most cases) no definitive proof whose vote was manipulated.
I do have a 2 PM meeting today, so I might declare who got lynched and then edit in the vote totals later.

At first I though the justification you brought was just a joke, so the formation of the wagon on you appeared a bit strange to me, however this quote seems to imply the contrary, and I don't really understand the point: if you use RNG, by definition you are voting randomly, so any additional reason is not only superfluous, but in direct contradiction with the method adopted (or you vote randomly or not, unless you extract from a smaller subset of players decided priorly).

The Day is spent with relatively civil death threats, and, while a few are accused, eventually one person find themselves the target of the group's hostilities. Then he lets out a drunken belch in the face of one person while spilling his chalice of liquor on the other. He soon finds himself slain for such an affront, though perhaps he is too inebriated to feel much pain.

rogue_alchemist was lynched. He was the Acolyte of Dionysius, Town

Acolyte of Dionysius: Once per game, you can cause a drunken revelry. If used during the Day, all votes but yours are cancelled. If used during the Night, no night powers (including the wolf night-kill) function that night.
Until you use this power, you can void one person per night by making them too drunk to act. This can block the wolf night-kill.

Night 1 Begins and will end in about 24 hours (2 pm on Oct. 1st)

I don't want to post too much lest I give something away, but...

-under normal circumstances, yes, rogue_alchemist could have saved himself. If he choose to, if he was active, if nothing interferred, etc.
-it is correct that 6 people voted for RA but there are only 5 votes for RA
-I do believe someone did not vote in the end. I asked them in their QT to confirm. But it wouldn't have changed anything anyhow. Even if they voted for Xihirli, that'd only put her to 4 votes.

Since I didn't see any roles that explicitly take people's votes (only ones that passively have a -1 to all totals against them), one of the roles has to have the ability to siphon people's votes hidden in their <redacted> text. My best guess is that the Contract Specialist is one of the wolves, and that one of the redacted "downsides" to accepting their power is a loss of voting ability. This also fits with Xihirli claiming to be a neutral who wants wolves dead: she could very easily be the Rogue Diabolist, if she isn't lying.

Granted, lying and murder seem to be some of her favorite hobbies. Still, I'm willing to believe her until given explicit reason to do otherwise.

Reading the contract specialist more closely this time. I bet it is a "if they accept the contract, their vote doesn't count for that day". So I agree with outsider. I had been going to suggest that the seer target one of the people who voted RA but it sounds like it wouldn't make a difference.

So Xihirli did not vote btw. Seems odd.
