    Also, how high are the windowsills? Can Sean crouch to be completely under it or would it require a different posture?
    (OOC: If the sniper gets line of sight on you from watching the hex (say, you were behind the hex with no obstacles blocking), he can shoot with full Aim and Wait. If you're to the side of the hex, you are probably safe behind the wall. The windowsills are waist high, Sean can crouch under it by kneeling or sitting.)

    The men behind the cars move up 6 yards, out of cover, as the other raiders pile in the automobiles. They are carrying rifles.
    The sniper keeps an eye out for a tasty target…
    Inside the base, Tariq can only sense a dreadful lull in the violence...

    Simone relaxes, lowers her gun and responds to Tariq, “Okay. We’re in the radio room, come on up.”
    In the meantime, the men in cars outside start up the engine and start to drive off.

    The sound of the sniper's rifle echoing spurs Richard into action, and he takes the shot he'd been lining up on one of the advancing raiders. Hopefully it'd convince them to follow the example of their friends in the cars.

    Richard’s bullet hits the man square in the chest, and he drops like a sack of dirt.
    The dead man’s comrade ignores him as he lies still, moving another 6 yards through the minefield…directly stepping onto a mine and dying in yet another explosion.
    The sniper takes notice of Richard’s fire...
    Simone nods at Tariq and motions for him to help her cover the other exiles.
    The men in the 2 cars drive away, following the ruined road.

    Richard ducks back behind the wall proper as he starts reloading. As he does that, he calls down to Sean. "Any thoughts on how to handle our sniper situation? Reckon you could sneak out there without being noticed while they focus on trying to get a bead on us in here?"

    (OOC: Yeah. We're dropping out of combat time. The sniper is just going to stay where he is for now, you guys declare how you're going to counter him in general terms rather than round by round actions.)

    "Fifty yards or thereabouts. Ontop of the hill, basically the same direction they came from. Taking cover behind a low wall, but not really hiding. I'd say a bit too far for a throw." says Sean taking cover behind the wall and taking the bayonet off the rifle. "I'll maybe give him some more warning shots, then we'll see." Sean sneaks down to the first floor, takes a position as far from the wall facing the sniper as he possibly can while still being just a step away from line of fire through the building entrance. He then makes that step, aims, shoots, and gets back behind the wall blocking line of sight from the sniper.

    The sniper is startled as the bullet hits the solid wooden cover he has been bracing on. Although the shot didn't penetrate the log, the sniper immediately breaks off his aim and drops out of sight.

    Sean moves around the first floor while not getting himself exposed to the sniper. Also, not getting anything much exposed to the sniper, he opens two random windows in random order. He then moves in similar way on the second floor, getting one more random window open. Then he sneaks back to the first floor, as deep into the building as he can from the second window he opened there, steps to get a line of sight to the target, aims, and shoots.

    Not sure how those windows open, but Sean is going to get creative not to get much of anything exposed. If appropriate, he might use tools etc. Then...

    The sniper is sticking close to the ground and his cover, and Sean's shot goes wide anyways.

    Once again, the sniper is startled by the rifle fire. This time, he gets even more jumpy, and drops into even deeper cover so he can reposition.

    Sean loses sight of the would-be assassin.

    Sean gets back to the second floor, peeks into the recently opened window, then, not seeing a sniper looking at him, crouches, bracing the rifle in the expected direction of the sniper.

    "Those guys are cautious now. Tariq, I think you can get close enough to throw a grenade without necessarily getting killed. Try to leave them little time to scatter and then get back as fast as you can. They are behind a log, so better an overshot than an undershot. Richard and I will have you covered."

    Tariq lights the fuse on a black powder grenade, waits for 2 seconds, and then throws the grenade to where he thinks the motorcycle is.

    Tariq rolls 10 on his to hit roll, I'm not sure what the range is but effective skill is 17 so that should be a hit out to 30 yards. The grenade will explode the turn he throws it, doing 8 cr ex damage and the fragmentation does 6 cutting, and has the potential to hit everyone within 5 yards with 2 fragments.

    For just a second, Tariq wonders if the grenade was a dud. The two men talk without interruption.
    Until the explosion.

    The blast tears apart a few metres of terrain (and, judging by the harsh industrial racket, the motorcycle as well) - Tariq struggles to hear anything else, but he does find that the conversation between the two men has changed to screams of terror and pain.

    When the silence falls over the hilltop, Tariq looks over his cover to see two men lying bloodied and still besides a damaged motorcycle in the middle of the aftermath.

    There is nobody else around. The two men are out cold, severely wounded and their clothing torn up by the blast. The motorcycle is probably not going to work without serious fixing.
