At first I read "ogres of some sort fighting hobgobelins. Why should we care?" then I remembered all nonhumanoids are not to be adventurer fodder in that setting :D

I suppose those at range can start firing. Given the number of ogres, it shouldn't be too difficult to single out some that are not too close with allies to suffer a penalty from shooting in melee.

In case that's needed, initiative: (1d20+2)[3]

Ideally if we can close to ~300ft that's only the 3rd range increment to start firing

From what I recall, it's a rough peace. They are allies of Sparta, however, or at least were during the war.

Corinth is one of Sparta's most important allies.

She is commercially powerful, has a decent Navy and a highly important strategic position at the entry to the Peloponnese that's about as far from Sparta itself as you can get whilst still being in the Peloponnese

Because of all that she gets to preserve her internal autonomy and get treated as a genuine ally and not a vassal, and sometimes the Corinthian tail gets to wag the Spartan dog. Corinth actually had a lot to do with starting the war.

Yeah it's really neat! What's the range of the ability? Because Agoros is going to move quite far away from Aegea.

    A few notes:

For those keeping track these ogres are AC14 rather than 16 because they are in equivalent of Padded not Hide - this will also make them faster

If you haven't rolled initiative yet you'll go at the bottom of the order until the round after you do (this is called "please make the GM's life easier"

Would Aegea be able to pause long enough to yell something to Argos quickly as the ogres come close to him?
