"To Candles," Morrigan said. "Waka waka waka waka." She flew off.
"Me and Ishat have a lot of reading to do," Leff agreed, patting Ishat's head. "You're a little researcher, aren't you? Like mommy."
"Like mommy!" Ishat answered, flapping their wings to cuddle Leff's cheek.

[Valmark]

"The two flames are so cute together" Eris smiled stroking both heads.
"I guess I'll... Uh... Bring Aklah to get food. For real, not near the mansion. And... I honestly don't know" she shrugged.
"Oh wait, did you have the time to look at my armor problems?"

"Yeah," Leff said. "The blacksmiths said they couldn't melt or break the metal because of the magic." She frowned sadly at Eris. "Sorry."

[Valmark]

"I see... Ehy, maybe Razimith knows how to alter it. He's a different wizard no?" Eris said "Worth a try as we wait. Can you ask Razimith if he knows anything about that?"

[Xihirli]

Leff asked Razimith with her flame Sending and shook her head. "He says we'd need to ask an Artificer."

Eris inclined her head, evidently confused.
"Why would we want to explode my armor?"

"I don't... Artificers work with magic armor, not just explosives," Leff clarified. Morrigan flew back in.

"Ooooh. Makes sense. Oh! Wasn't there something something about a Keep that sold Black Ice and other magical stuff near Baldur's Gate? Maybe that?" Eris asked as Morrigan came back. She turned towards her.
"Everything went smoothly?"

"Candle Keep," Leff confirmed. Morrigan pecked her feathers and ruffled them. "Went smoothly," she said in infernal.
"Waka waka waka waka."

[Valmark]

"Great, well done" Eris reached out to pet Morrigan along the neck. It wasn't awkward if she didn't touch the bracialet correct?
"I think I'll pay them a visit if you promise me I can leave you to reading without too much worry"

"With Ishat's help, I can read while I cast," Leff told Eris. "They're a helper."
Morrigan hopped over to Mávro's bed, an the elf regrew in her meditative position.

"You can read while you cast means...?" Eris looked confused at what Leff meant regarding coming too or not.

"I can maintain the steeds, travel, and read at the same time."

[Valmark]

"Oooh! You say it as if it's so easy" Eris clapped her hands and dragged Leff in for a kiss.

I hope those three things leave space to get teased

She leaned back all smiles and stood up.
"I guess we should actually know where it is. I seem to recall it being south of Baldur's Gate but I could be wrong. Ask Polly?" she ventured while gathering her equipment.

“We Follow The biggest road south and stay on it,” Leff said.
“Do you mind if we leave Ishat at Razimith’s, and... get some inks?”

[Valmark]

"Of course not" Eris said giving Leff the safe's keys "Take what you need. Maybe this time around I'll also remember to have the gemstones converted into cold, hard cash. Shall we go? Safes, Gond's Temple, Razimith then we leave? We should pass by here to get Aklah after Razimith rather then parading her around town. As fun as it is each time"

“His traps didn’t affect her at all, and... he suggested we exchange homunculi for a bit. So they’re expected. Ishat can go ahead.”
“I’m a strong, independent mephit!” Ishat added.

"Mmm... Alright" Eris nodded, picked up Ishat and gave them a kiss on a cheek "Yes you are. Make sure to listen to what Razimith says, alright?"

[Xihirli]

"Will do, Mother!" Ishat cuddled Eris's cheek and flew out the window.
"Alright. Safe, then?" Leff asked, opening the door.

[Valmark]

"Yup. Wonder if I can get Razimith's homunculus to doodle our family on your book" Eris mused, nodding and heading out.

"How about after we settle down, I make a copy of my spellbook that has our family on the cover," Leff offered as they walked to their safes. Leff thought it over, estimated the length of time they'd be on the road, and grabbed fifty platinum to get some of her precious inks with.

So that's enough for ten spell levels over the trip. Which is a lot. We don't have to rp out buying the ink, we can move onto Gond's Temple.

"I accept" Eris nodded her agreement as they headed to the jeweler with the gemstones hoping she had 5000 gold coins in her pocked this time.

[Xihirli]

Velza, the green tiefling appraiser, smiled at Eris as she approached. "A fine day to see you," she said. "You'll be happy to know I spoke to the higher-ups and I'm holding a lot more coinage on me."

[Valmark]

"Perfect" Eris smiled "And hello to you. See the new wings?" she spread them to show the other tiefling "It was kinda painful, but it worked. Aaaanyway..." she showed the gemstones to Velza "This one is the one you appreised the last time... And the others come from the same place, so hopefully they'll have similar worth"

[Xihirli]

"Love them!" Velza said, then frowned. "Oh, you have more. Um...." She pulled out a drawer loaded with platinum coins. "I don't... er... I can buy the gem I already appraised off of you, and give you a documented appraisal of the others for a nominal fee of ten gold coins."

[Valmark]

Eris inclined her head, confused.
"Uuuuhm... What does 'documented appraisal' mean?" she asked confused "Anyway, no need. I can just exchange one and keep the others for another time so I don't spend ten more gold coins"

[Xihirli]

"I'd write and sign my appraisal so that you could sell them to anyone who deals in jewels, or use them as currency." Velza explained, pulling out the drawer with a heave and brought it onto her desk. She started stacking up coins until there were 500 platinum coins for Eris.

"Mmm... I see. Does it date out?" Eris asked "I mean, does it stop being valid after a time?"

[Xihirli]

"Eventually, society will stop valuing crystals and shiny metals," Velza answered.

[Valmark]

"Eh, I'll take my chances" Eris shrugged and put a platinum coin on the table "For the... Uh... Appraisal thingie. The one to carry with me" she set the four gemstones on the table, the one already appraised set apart.
