The survivors are already doing their best on the bucket brigade, but without access to the roof the water will need to be flung. The survivors can refill the four 3 gallon buckets once per round.

Each square of fire needs to be hit with 12 gallons of water to be extinguished so 4 buckets need to be used to douse a square. It is a ranged touch attack (with a -4 penalty) to hit a burning square. You can choose to fling water as a standard action using your bab, dex, etc. rather than having the survivors attempt it.

Adowyn can make a ranged attack roll with a bucket if she wishes or let a survivor take one.

The blow is sufficient to kill the Color Sprayed Hobgoblin. There remains one remaining hob who is still bleeding out.

Walter will wait to see if Peri will succeed in breaking down the barricade. If Peri succeeds, he'll start in to look for survivors, if not, he'll go for a window and smash it open with his elbow.

Walter see's Perwialen's attempts fail, and turns to a window and strikes it. He does indeed hit the wooden shutters keeping the window closed, but can't deal enough damage with an unarmed strike to destroy it.

The fire crew fling their buckets of water towards the farthest flame first attempting to stop or slow the spread. The water hisses on contact with the flames and part of the fire dies out!

It is after this attempt that Perwialen suspects it may be easier to cut the doors down than force them open.

Try though he might, Walter's strength is insufficient to break through the barred doors or windows, and his bare fists too weak to damage them as well.

The Fire crew launches water once again, but were far less successful. Two hit the fire but one missed and the last fumbled entirely and dropped a bucket. The fire crew quickly moves back to refill the buckets, the one who dropped his looking particularly embarrassed.

The fire that was wetted fails to spread but the other spreads to another portion of the roof.

Things are looking dire. The cries from inside the trading company died down a while ago, and nothing has been heard from them since. Smoke continues to fill the building possibly choking the life from them. Aubrin makes her injured way over to Caliban and practically shouts at him, "WHAT IN THE HELLS ARE YOU DOING!? They are dying in there! Get that door open! Beat it with your fist if you have to!" The injured cleric then stands where she is gasping as her shout caused her injury to act up.

Caliban lowers into a sprinter's stance before charging at the door. He aims a punch near the doorknob. He slams into the door dealing 11 damage to it. The door appears to be broken but not yet destroyed entirely.

Fed up with the barricade resistance, Perwialen starts beating it with their scythe. The Scythe cleaves through the door's hinges which, coupled with Caliban's blow to the lock, causes the door to fall outward from the weight of the furniture piled behind it which also releases a fair amount of smoke from inside the buiiding.

One of the fire brigade hands Adowyn a bucket which she takes, the other three send water towards the roof. They did poorly though and only one landed on the already weakened flame, the other two splash uselessly against the wall.
