Her senses now sharpened by the blast of psychic energy, Sora'Shana can almost feel her neurons firing in her brain as her body sets into the familiar sway of battle: she rolls on the ground, rising next to the second wolf, rapier already thrusting towards the beast as she does so. With Shana's power enhancing her blow the thrust blasts out, propelled forward by telekinetic force.

When she speaks, there is a second voice overlapping her usual one:
'Hold on, Jane. We've got your back!'

Sora' moves to flank the second wolf and attacks with telekinetic strike

Baelor looked at the wolves incredulously, they stood as tall as a small horse, broad shouldered, feral, and viciously savage. Teeth the size of daggers snapped at Jane as she tried to scramble back. Reinaldo and Shana quickly moved to ensure that Jane was not pinned between the two slavering beasts, Arabelle a few short yeards from his own position, cranked back on her crossbow and let fly with a bolt. Concerned that the attack would draw the attention of the wolves, Baelor moved to her side, "Stay close little one," and as he spoke, he pulled from his back the re-forged greatblade wielded by his grandfather, it's worn hilt, and familiar weight comfortable in his hands.

As he did so the phantom's attention snapped to him, the hooded figure nodded, and silently slid into the fray, drawing a blade that was a reflection of Baelor's own, yet the apparition's blade did not have the forge marks so obvious on Baelor's blade, and it shone in the midday sun. As Baelor took a step towards the fray, ready to replace one of his companions should they withdraw, or fall, the apparition let out a low, mournful howl, as it swung it's blade at the uninjured wolf.

OOC: No Action: Echo moves from side of the road to a position between the two wolves, above Jane so it does not block her from disengaging should she wish to. Action: Attack Wolf 1, attack will originate from the Echo's position. (1d20+5)[9], for (2d6)[3][4](7)+3. If attack is successful, I will Action Surge for a Second Attack, originating from Echo, (1d20+5)[8], for (2d6)[6][1](7)+3 damage. If that 2nd attack is successful, I will use Unleash Echo for a 3rd attack, from the Echo's position. (1d20+5)[19], for (2d6)[4][4](8)+3. Attacks will switch targets if, for some reason a series drops the initial wolf. With a 9, 1st attack missed, so no additional attacks. God, we're rolling like crap here folks!

    Jane

"AAAGH!" Jane screamed in pain, louder than she normally liked, but this wasn't a normal situation and monster wolves had just taken a giant bite out of her!. Who cared about silence at this point?!

Fluffles certainly didn't, keening as she swooped in and smacked one of her attackers in the face. With the wolf distracted, Jane took a second opportunity to skewer the wolves, aiming for the twisted one this time. Then she spent the rest of her energy getting as far away as possible.

    Spoiler: OOC
    Show
Pretty close to the same as last time, although with an 18 to attack, hopefully Jane doesn't miss. Fluffles grants Advantage, then flies away. Jane casts Booming Blade, sneak attacks, then disengages. If she hits, the wolf takes 12 damage. And while Jane is just trying to get out, her route conveniently puts her by the echo, who can hopefully prevent a followup.

The dire wolf takes the blows from Estralita Sora, clearly on its last legs if its amorphous vestiges of limb could be described by such mundane terms. With a final spring of life, it and its pack mate both bare their teeth and lunge at Sora!

After the first stroke of his blade goes astray, Reinaldo's face flushes with embarrassment. He brings it back around and slashes at the less injured of the two wolves, intent to prove his might by cutting it down in its prime. The blade still carries the silvery gleam, swirling around it and eager to be released.

Reeling from the pain of the attack, Sora' wrestles with the wolves who are trying to drop her to the ground to finish her off. She concentrates her psionic energy into her lower body, creating a short burst of force that pushes the creatures back ever so slightly, just enough to loosen the grip of their jaws and create an opening for her to leap up towards the trees. Propelled by the psionic force, she flies much higher than expected and draws her longbow as she lands gracefully on a thick branch, ready to nock an arrow and rain death from above.

    Spoiler: OoC

Sora' uses disengage and psi-powered leap to add 10feet (rolled a 4, so I add ((4x2)+(int mod[1]x2)) to the distance jumped. rolled a total of twenty for the jump. The ripple of force to unlock their jaws was just flavor, not actually an ability, in case you were wondering. Finally, she draws her weapon as part of her move action.

Arabelle frantically begins to reload her crossbow as both of the massive wolf creatures howl in pain from various blows delivered to them. While the one everyone save Reinaldo has been damaging seems on its last limbs, the fresh wolf still has plenty of fight left in it, barring its teeth at Reinaldo as it prepares to strike.

Despite the fact the spectre had failed to lay the beast low, he felt a familiarity with the apparition, a bond. He looked to the hilt of his greatsword, then to the ghostly figure, the howl and gasp of pain as the beast tore a bloody chunk of Sora's thigh from her leg snapped him back to reality, placing an arm across the young woman's chest, he repeated his warning, "Stay behind me," and then he prayed, concentrating on the figure, "If you mean us no harm, then help my allies," he hissed under his breath. He then took a savage swing at the creature, starting at shoulder heaight then cleaving towards it's lower hind quarters, the apparition mimicking his movements with an attack of it's own.

    Jane

Jane had about a million questions about the ghost that seemed to be fighting along side them. But she would never get her answers if they didn't get out of this alive. Summoning up what remained of her stamina, she and Fluffles charged into the fray once more.

    Spoiler: OOC
