Re: Grrl Power VI: Stripping The Hero Doesnt Work
Funny thing about that.
There actually is supposed to be some difference to regular coffee.
But that's less from the whole digestion thing and more because of the specific coffee beans they eat in the wild.
The beans they feed them in captivity for mass production (relatively speaking)?
Aren't that kind of coffee.
So the real deal might be well worth it.
I wouldn't know, I don't drink coffee.
Can barely tolerate the smell.
The question is whether the good Doctor Superion knows and/or cares enough to get the good stuff."If it lives it can be killed.
If it is dead it can be eaten."

Re: Grrl Power VI: Stripping The Hero Doesnt Work
It may be worth the $2B to Deus to have the United States implicitly recognize his conquests by entering into a business arrangement with him. Which is why there's no way this deal is struck by a Lt. Colonel, no matter how big an explosion she can cause. This is the State Department's job (and they're actually pretty good at that sort of thing), but yeah, it's a comic strip and our comic book super heroes are going to be front and center.
Because right now he sits with a set of cards that might literally be priceless.
And no Maxima cant officially strike such a deal.
But she is worth a lot more than $2B herself. And if he can sell the deal to her.
Then its pretty likely her oppinion would be relevant.thnx to Starwoof for the fine avatar

Re: Grrl Power VI: Stripping The Hero Doesnt Work
Yeah, aside from being, I guess field commander of arcswat, she is clearly one of the higher ups when it comes to super related matters in america. We dont know her full set of duties, responsibilities, or the weight her opinion carries in the lofty realms of executive government. Also, the fact is, she has a connection to deus, which makes her a VERY valuable resource to use to gather info from him, and she has the power to make any incidents low risk as there are very few out there who can be a threat to her. So her going into a volatile near warzone like this makes sense as she is probably the highest ranking government official who can show up without being at risk, and is low level enough to not cause a huge diplomatic stir by being there. And can get there on short notice on top of it all because she has a direct invitation from deus himself which probably means they get their info weeks earlier than if they followed standard diplomatic channels.

I just noticed we're on page 51. How did this happen?
This ... is my signature finishing move!
