    Roslayn looks around sadly, "They know not the dangers they face and in their ignorance they may find death awaits them." Ignoring the folk in the park she motions towards the trees and after they have pauses to look for danger nods forward, "The danger is not apparent, come we must take heart and go and seek out the creatures."

    As she advances towards the trees, her long cold iron blade held low she looks to those she passes in the park. "They are here, evil resides in the park. Take you children and return to your homes, pray to the inheritor that we can serve here here and defeat the evil within."

    As the party studies the area, some pre-teen children approach Ripper and Thargril tentatively.

    "What is it?" asks the first child.
    "What are you staring at?" asks the second.

    People in the street, seeing weapons and dinosaurs, give you a wide berth and hurry away.

    Erizat's Ritual Tracker ability definitely picks up magical activity at the treeline. Ezora watches her watching the trees. "Do you see it? The trees are just...wrong." She shudders and Erizat feels a frozen needle run down her back as well. (No actual damage)

    The people of the park mostly back away. Some are too surprised to do anything but stare at Rosalyn slack jawed.

    The professor starts walking toward the treeline after straightening up from smelling a particular flower. The rope swings flutter in the "wind" although you feel very little breeze.

    The grim halfling draws his scimitar and makes a series of clicking sounds, directing Thargril's hostile gaze to the ropes too. The feathered dinosaur hisses loudly at them, ruffling its plumage and looking bigger and meaner as it also expresses it's hostility towards the strange threat.

    The party advances into the park as the people mostly scatter away from them. The spacing looks approximately like this:

    No one seems to be concerned about the professor and he pushes through the underbrush and out of sight. He is just at a walking pace, so the party could try to catch up if they run.

    Roger does not quite get what this all this is supposed to mean. He orders the people out of the park, not just away from the party. He then tries to estimate how dense is the vegetation there and what trails and roads are made between it for those who'd like to go for a walk.

    Roslayn watches and nods in approval as people back away and start heading to the exits. "Go safely now, keep the faith" she calls to them before advancing. Seeing the professor heading ahead of them she calls out, "Wait, wait for us so that you may defend yourself." Judging the situation to be troubling she advances quikcly towrads the hanging flowers, cold iron blde in hand, eyes scanning for data

    The professor seems not to have heard and is now out of sight in the underbrush.

    The repeated words by the obviously imposing team of heroes are enough to clear the park, although many stop just outside the walls to watch.

    Roger sees only one path that has been hacked through the underbrush, but even that seems barely used as the grass is high. He also sees Rosalyn, Sanamin and Thargril disappear into the bushes. Ezora and Erizat are headed that way too.

    Sanamin and Thargril continue to creep forward, silently watching for threats as they note the unconscious professor. Sanamin makes a sharp, loud bird-whistle and points to the man so everyone can see him.

    Sanamin quietly hisses as he and Thargril avoid the grasping vines and grasses. "Watch your steps! The plants are trying to get us!" he exclaims quietly as he and his dinosaur continue to dance. "I can make them do this too, though I didn't do it this time..."

    Erizat's blindsense reveals that some of the small trees are in fact ambulatory and are creeping toward the professor.

    Seeng a large part of the party disappearing into the bush, Roger frowns, commands Ripper to heel and then rides forward along what resembles a path, where he would be... well, not surely out of melee, but at least having some idea of where he is going. He has he bow handy, but is not sure of any possible targets so far.

    Sanamin and Thargril move quickly to get out of the area of the Entangle effect. "Look out! Watch your feet and get away from the plants trying to grab your legs!" he warns as he looks around for a caster or other source of magic. "Something is attacking us! Where is it?"

    Erizat keeps her eyes shut as she calls out to alert the others, "These are not ordinary trees! They are moving to surround him!" She points with her spear towards the professor.

    As she moves next to the bewitched man, the winter fey traces a string of arcane symbols in the air, glowing sigils that disperse to form a ring around her.

    Standard action: Activate her Sanction path power, using the Sign of Winter. Any creature with the plant type that either moves within 30 ft. of Erizat or begins their turn within 30 ft. of Erizat must succeed a DC 15 Will save or take a -4 penalty to Strength. Additionally, for any creature that failed its save, movement towards Erizat requires twice as much movement. When attacking or using an ability that requires an attack roll against a creature affected by her sanction, Erizat may make a free bull rush attempt that does not provoke an attack of opportunity.

    Without a map I am assuming a charge is an option, and both are aggressive to the extreme. They will each charge the same target, trying to get to opposite sides to set up flanks next turn.
