    I assume he can only do one CLW per round, so Sanamin gets his, then he has to make his fort save again. (He can act now, despite being down some Con.)

    Rosalyn has made two consecutive saves, so she doesn't need to worry about the poison anymore.

    Combat is over, but we need to stay in rounds until Sanamin saves twice consecutively (or dies.)

    All of the townsfolk in the area that didn't run away are dead.

    It's a basic Con loss. I've been keeping track of it. But at 2nd level, you have to lose two points of Con to lose two hit points. So that's why you're conscious now.

    With a gasp Sanamin comes back to consciousness, looking about for threats and his dropped scimitar. With a shaky breath he directs Thargril towards the weapon, leaning down to pick it up and look around. "Are they all dead? How about all of us?" he asks Roslayn, Ezora, and Roger as the other man leans down to try and heal Erizat. "Where is Malik? And when you're done healing Erizat, do you have any more?"

    Erizat's eyes widen suddenly as healing energy flows through her bruised and bloodied body. The sensations of life return, but with them come the memories of her final moments of consciousness. Memories of her own weakness -- the demons she could not kill and the helpless bystander whose life she was forced to take. A mixture of shame and anger washes over her. She barely moves, her eyes narrowing, her jaw tightening, her fingertips digging into the dirt beside her. She begins to mutter a string of words in the fey tongue, some discernible as curses even to those who do not understand the language. The muttering continues until at last she looks to the sky and screams, as loud as she is able, "Agus dh ’fhŕg thu mi an seo!"

    The demon head just lies in the street staring at Erizat. The skies (or the gods) offer no response to her cries.

    Sanamin is down three points of Con and needs to make another save. If anyone can give him a Heal check, it may help.

    Sanamin and Rosalyn know that Malik's body is on the roof.

    Everyone may take a turn.

    Rosalyn would have to wrestle the dead demon off of Malik's body to get a close look, but the situation is clear. He is quite dead, and pale, as most of the blood has left his body through the enormous chest wound and is soaking into the roof and his backpack full of his final possessions.

    She notices a single feather still clutched in the demon's pincer and recognizes it as one of Thargril's.

    Are we still counting combat rounds? That was a long fight, Sanamin and Thargril are pretty well spent, and several buffs are about to expire. In addition, both are at about half their max HPs, so they need healing and rest before they will be close to ready for another fight like that...

    That's two consecutive saves, so Sanamin can stop worrying about the poison. We can stop counting rounds too.

    The bruised and bloodied heroes of the tavern regroup briefly amidst the devastation. "We should go," Ezora pleads. "If they send reinforcements or firebombs, we won't survive." She gives Margaretta a quick hug and goes to check the back door. "All clear..."

    Margaretta tries to straighten up and stand tall, but is obviously hurting. After Ezora steps away, she strides decisively toward Erizat and gives her a long hug with frantic whispering.

    Roger shrugs. "I'd rather un-attract the attention we have somehow attracted. I have no idea how anyone can expect us to attack when we are barely able to defend ourselves, losing men in the process. I don't mind to go to your Tanya and talk, just don't have high hopes." He makes a gesture encompassing the surroundings. "Should we properly hand the scene to some people like the guards or simply abandon it in it's present state?"

    Erizat is quiet, her shoulders slumped as the bloodied company make their way back to the tavern. When Margaretta embraces her, the white haired fey stiffens, and as she listens to the seer's words, her expression is pained, her desire to return to the First World -- to wash herself of this plane and its conflict -- ceded to what she percieves to be the will of the Three. Fate itself.

    She glances to the street outside. "And if that power is not mine to control?" she says lowly in answer. No sooner have the words left her mouth than Erizat recoils, as though recognizing that she has spoken out of place. "Forgive my inpertinence. I will heed your words. Please, be safe, fradhar'aor."

    She turns to Erazor. "Lead and I will follow."

    Margaretta replies, "You be safe as well, child. The road you walk is a perilous one." She glances briefly at Malik and departs through what is left of the front door.

    The kindly barmaid nods. "We will see to him. He was so brave..." She shakes a locust husk off of a tablecloth and covers Malik's pale face.

    <looking to Roger> "We will close up for today at least. If more demons arrive...well...at least they won't have any more victims."

    Ezora, moving swiftly, deliberately, and stealthfully, leads you down one back alley after another, always stopping to look and listen before crossing an intersection. This goes on for more than half an hour. The first two blocks of which have no survivors in the street. (Most ran away, but many fought each other or themselves and now lie in the street or in their shops.)

    There won't be any notable encounters along the way, but by all means roleplay how you feel and how you interact with the others.

    Walking down the street Rosalyn looks pale and sad at the horror. She glances at the others as she walks, a hand resting on the hilt of her silver blade at all times. "Even here we are not safe." she mutters as she walks. "I had hoped as I crossed what remained of LastWall and Andor that that was the worst. I had prayed that here on the Starstone Isle we would be safe, that all of them would be safe." She adds the last as she kneels beside a dead woman and covers her face with the ladies dropped cloths. "Imoedae bless you and welcome you to a better place..." she murmurs.

    Following the others she looks at Ezora, "Where are you taking us? Where we can do the most help?"

    Sanamin watches the others out of the side of his eye as he checks on Thargril's injuries. The two unusual warriors nod at the recommendations and follows as they are led away. Sanamin notes the many dead with only a tightening of the skin around his eyes. "We cannot kill enough of these demons. If this Tanya can help, get us there."

    Whispering frantically, Ezora replies, "To the Liberation movement, the best organized resistance to the demon threat."

    She eventually arrives at a solid stone wall and starts running her fingers across a specific section of it. There seems to be a well-designed, well-hidden door here, wide enough for a horse, but not a giant. The inside is mostly dark, but there is a candle on a shelf by the door and a covered oil lamp tucked in the corner. To the left, there are stairs going down and the faint smell of incense. To the right, you smell hay and straw and the pleasant smell of oiled leather.

    "Get inside and close the door as quickly as possible!" She points Roger to the right, lights the oil lamp with the candle, and hurries down the stairs, apparently forgetting explanation and courtesy.

    Roger ducks, rides inside, makes sure Ripper is also inside, and only then dismounts and looks to the right. He lets the last one in do the door-closing and instead proceeds to stable the animals where appropriate.

    Sanamin watches closely as the secret door is opened, trying to remember what their guide does to open it. Once the dark portal is clear he directs Thargril inside and then guards the passage as everyone else enters. Finally, once all are inside, he closes the portal, collects his dinosaur, and follows the rest into the dark tunnel below.

    At the bottom of the stairs, Ezora nods at a couple of human fighter/guard/sentry types. They nod back, looking at the bloodied team that marches quietly behind her. When Sanamin and Thargril get close, one of them says, "Hey Mate, would you mind leaving your partner upstairs in the stable? Binnie can feed him and keep him comfortable. Maybe even look at those scratches." Diplomacy roll = 15

    Upstairs, a young female gnome with only one and a half ears pulls out a blanket for Stomper and points him toward some grain and fresh water. She looks intimidated at the sight of Ripper and asks, "Would he let me bind his wound?"

    Erizat, something is not quite right with your pack. The weight or the alignment of your stuff has changed. And your foot hurts.

    Rosalyn, the second guard looks at you a little too long and then tries to look away, but clearly he's busted.

    Sanamin looks at the guard quietly as Thargril hisses, barely loudly enough to be heard. Turning to his dinosaur companion Sanamin soothes the feathered reptile and looks back to the guard. "Thargril was nearly snatched away from me just now by demons. Thank you for the offer, but for now I'd like him close. You understand, surely?" he says, his voice rough with pent up emotion but not deliberately rude.

    Diplomacy (1d20+0)[19]. Sanamin won't want to part with Thargril right now, given the very recent attempt at dinosaur-napping. If the guard insists, Sanamin will stay with Thargril, possibly missing out on some of the upcoming role-playing.
