Fronaldo shrugs at Xhan’s question.
“Taking my mutagen damages my thought process and makes me more susceptible to mental attacks. If you can’t spare a spell, don’t worry about it.”

He shakes his head.

"It's the backlash of your mutagen, magic cannot heal that. Spells could, however, temporarily supplement your failing instincts, but I don't know those spells."

“Aahhh…Okay! I never had much use for wisdom anyway.”
When his preparations are complete, Fronaldo packs meticulously.
“Let’s go!”

The party gets back to the Tempe of the Snake as the sun is going down, but before sunset proper.

Just outside the Temple of the Snake, Aron will apply invisibility to herself, Xhanfaerd, and Book ... and Fronaldo will take an invisibility extract, correct?

Book simply takes a deep breath and readies his whip...

Aron casts invisibility on herself, Book, Xhanfaerd, and Gelik while Fronaldo drinks an invisibility extract of his own.

The party moves out, using collective (general) and little mouth-click noises (for those close to each other) to coordinate movement. So the quiet-stupid folk don't make noise to ruin the lead, they stay on the "shore" of the tar pit while Fronaldo and Book head forward.

Fronaldo, Book, when you get up to the room ... This roofless area has been cleared of rubble and its dirt floors are swept clean. Strange and unnerving images of shedding serpents and burning bodies are smeared upon the soot-stained walls. In the center of the room, two figures, sealed into hardened tar-cocoons, hang above a wide pit of glowing coals. Three clay buckets filled with tar sit to one side of the fire-pit, next to a burning torch set into the ground. The greasy stench of burnt flesh seems to cling to the very air.

Fronaldo moves to the SouthWest quietly; following along the wall until he is diagonally adjacent from the Southern Charau-ka(blue). He examines the area, paying particular attention to the prisoners condition.

R1T21: Red looks around curiously and moves right up to the entryway, right at the unseen source of the music, club now in hand as it looks around curiously.

R1T20: Fronaldo stabs the Charua-ka he is next to, scoring a deeply hurting crit on Blue for 40 + fatigued + disoriented (+4 bleed), dropping it. Now appearing as the other charau-ka look to where the whump sound of their fallen comrade is, they see a blonde goblin taking out a second dagger.

R1T19: Gomra (Brown) looks and shrieks something in a language only Book and Xhanfaerd understand.

R1T8: Xhanfaerd attempts to get in position to douse the place in water. He has to double move and get past Red since Aron is in the way. It took Xhanfaerd too much movement to get to to this point, but he has eyes on the fire they'll likely use.

R2T25: The bald-pated dwarf's bag gets untied, and he tumbles to the ground - badly injured and disabled from his treatment, but unharmed from this light fall.

R2T22: Aron continues to play her music. Her music moves into the room now (jostling Xhanfaerd as she goes), and then she is heard casting a spell ... and the dwarf disappears.

R2T21: Red enters a shrieking frenzy and clobbers Book in the head for 5, but misses with a second attack.
