    Hemocyanin is blue, though.

Rome had about a million around 1 AD, though it went down to about half of that with the Empire's decline. There were cities with the population of million or close to million in China, Baghdad had over a million in 11-12th century.

    It's Eberron, not ebberon.
It's not high magic, it's wide magic.
And it's definitely not steampunk. The only time steam gets involved is when the fire and water elementals break loose.

Some of them are traditional draconic colors. PHB pg 32, the last paragraph directly contradicts those being the only colors they come in.

The blood of a particular type of dragon runs very strong through some dragonborn clans. These dragonborn often boast scales that more closely match those of their dragon ancestor—bright red, green, blue, or white, lustrous black, or gleaming metallic gold, silver, brass, copper, or bronze.
Red and blue scales are not out of line with how Dragonborn can appear at all

Just going to point out an exception that is slightly brighter is not the same as firetruck red dragons, or blank white, or mars black. a closer color from a neutralized brown does not mean nearly neon.

Also, this has nothing to do with kobolds which have no such statement. again earthy colors and earthy greens.

Another big note is the Draconians section in the PBH, which tells you to use the Dragonborn stats for draconian(I don't like this but fine) and brings up that they are definitely bright colors.

Have you accepted the Flying Spaghetti Monster as your Lord and Savior? If so, add this to your signature!
Beholders are just a meatball that fell out of the Flying Spaghetti Monster
78% of DM's started their first campaign in a tavern. If you're one of the 22% that didn't, copy and paste this into your signature.
my first game started on a pirate ship
    Sorry for any spelling mistake

Just going to point out it's not an exception (entire clans 'often' share the color) and "slightly brighter, closer color from neutralized brown." It's explicitly "bright red, green, blue, or white, lustrous black, or gleaming metallic gold, silver, brass, copper, or bronze".

It's not like true dragons are neon colored in the first place.

If you can find a copy of "Races of the Dragon"(3.5) It has an amazing write up on Kobolds.
Most are earthy colors but there are some known as "Dragonwrought" that are born with the coloration of a dragon.
