    If you want really daring, go 96/4! So lean, you need to add fats to cook it!

    Seriously, though, it may be healthy, but it has almost no taste whatsoever on its own. So as a burger, it needs a lot of 'dressing up'. It's good for things like chili, though.

    I already do a lot of dressing up for my burgers to start with (by the time they hit the grill, you only need a bun for flavortown. But u still have toppings for people anyway). But price is also an issue so I think I'll stick with my 90/10, ateaat for now.

    Hey, guys. {scrubbed}
    And my question was "How to start to be a vegetarian?".
    Then I told my story about poor nutrition, love of coffee, and the decision to become a vegetarian. But nobody can answer me in a closed thread. So guys, tell me, please, something about starting vegetarianism.

    Next time a thread has a topic you want to discuss but is too old, just make a new thread.

    And honestly, we're probably not the ones to ask about this anyway. I would discuss your specific dietary needs with your doctor, because it sounds like you have some specific health problems we might make worse by accidentally giving you incorrect advice.

    I feel your pain. My weight was up and down for about five years while I struggled to change my habits. Now I’m vegan and have maintained 160-170 pounds for about ten years with 1300-1400 calories a day with little exercise (due to injuries, not choice). How, you say? Cooked vegetables, man.

    It can be done!

    Imagine the economic impacts if everyone suddenly gave up all “junk food.”

    Well... At this point in time, the same thing can be said about everyone suddenly giving up (or starting to consume) anything, really...
