Seaside 6: Six at the Beach

"Grimmjaw? Afraid I'm not familiar with that one either," Reinholdt raises an eyebrow at the first he's heard of Grimmjaw. He listens to the rest of the sad, tragic story of witches and zealots, hinting at a small fraction of Ukry's age, and culminating in something extraordinarily dark. The chill that mask gives Rein is far deeper than any his specialty drink has provided. It spoke of more than just being pushed into a corner and lashing out, though that was clearly entwined in the narrative. As now the goddess was entwined with Ukry. Reinholdt glances down for a moment, before glancing up again and asking, "How many are there? Like Pyrhra and Grimmjaw?" How many different masks? How many different victims? All the same, Rein puts his free hand on Ukry's knee for a moment, hopefully a comforting gesture. They were a victim too.

Oh Ukry wants to know about the drinks that Black Dragon's Den offered. "Uhh, no, not looking to surprise you. They're just the kind of things I wouldn't serve. You're talking about corruption, poison, making someone fly into a blind rage, addictive pain, literally on fire, and hallucinations. Not the, umm, kind of drink I carry around anymore. You may just have to settle for surprises elsewhere." Reinholdt gives them an apologetic, slightly nervous smile. "But the owner creator sometimes is around. Much less so lately, sadly, but if I ever run into Raril again, I can introduce you. His wife is around a lot more. She's the waitress over at Trog's, ironically." You'd think Zee and Raril being in competing businesses would be an issue, but perhaps it's secretly some kind of oligarchy.

Ukry explains their position in a little more detail and Reinholdt almost laughs with relief. "Ah, well. Consider it another reason I don't wish to plug into the tapestry of the world." Sounds like it was being problematic for the witch right now. "I shall simply have to be so exquisitely charming that it's absolutely impossible for you to focus on anything else." His lips travel down a little to take their chin and their neck before before pulling away properly.

"You smell nice," Rein compliments her efforts before going back to the food himself. He almost raises a hand in protest as Ukry produces even more food for him! "No, no, it's fine. You've already provided the duck. At this rate, the entire meal will have been made by you! Nothing wrong with that, but if that's going to happen, I want to walk in on you making the food in a cute apron." It's one of the big perks of having someone make a meal for you. Reinholdt smirks at Ukry, his lips drawing up in a tease. "Will you be able to fulfill that fantasy of mine? That would be true magic."
