Bath is evil. So, so, so evil. And he goes to an all boys school for which I pity him. Evil!

Re: Midnight's Mutant Motorcycle Madness Random Banter #90
That's a good plan, but doesn't it look a little odd? I once forgot to cut the ring finger on both my hands and in the end it was about twice the length of all my other nails.
A friend of mine gets shivers whenever someone clicks two long fingernails together, it makes his teeth hurt. Also his teeth hurting makes his teeth hurt. As does cold, ice cream, blackboard scraping and teeth gnashing.
@Curly: I'm not evil *sobs*. It's the radio's fault for playing a clip of Chico!Last edited by Dr. Bath; 2007-11-06 at 05:29 PM.

Shhhhh! I meant that thinking about pain in conjunction with teeth causes him pain. Leave me be!
Also, an all boys school isn't so bad, I went there mainly because there aren'tmanyany good, unisex schools that I got into for secondary school.

Re: Midnight's Mutant Motorcycle Madness Random Banter #90
Same here. Though it's more thinking about chomping on certain things that does it for me.
The nail thing doesn't really look weird (at least I hope!).. the longish ones are only about 1-2mm's or so in length with the rest being about half that. The extra millimeter makes a surprising difference but it's not all that noticeable.

Re: Midnight's Mutant Motorcycle Madness Random Banter #90
@Calamity. Sympathy for the rotten day.
I've never had toothache, nor required any dental work, so can't really get the teeth thing. Although I do cringe and wince (sometimes shuddering too) at the thought of fingers/toes being injured. Probably after losing the tip of one of mine.
Fingernails on blackboards is a nice sound. How can anyone dislike the drawn out screech....Why cannot life be simple? I am simple, therefore surely something that i try to do must also be simple

The funny thing is, his mum is a dentist, so really he doesn't have other dental problems it's just that one thing.
Poor Calamity. Just be thankful you haven't say, had an elephant sit on your computer.

Re: Midnight's Mutant Motorcycle Madness Random Banter #90
You should do like I do, keep the four left without the thumb (or right if you're left handed) rather short while growing the ones on the right (or left -||-).
Bleh, it's 23:55 here, I have a Geography test tomorrow, okay it's on the EU, but anyway, and haven't learned anything. I'm not yet done with the handout for the history presentation in the afternoon and just finished with the English homework.
Something is clearly wrong with my homework timetable:
Maths: Do at school in Latin, Religion, History or Chemistry lessons.
English: Do at school -||- or not at all. Always do it last possible time or after that.
German: Don't do the homework. If you have to, write it in the hour in the morning.
Rest of the time: Browse the forums.
I just don't know what.
But, Screw the rules, I have money! Oh wait, I don't.

I've lost count of the number of laptops I've lost to elephants.
They get violently territorial when they find you using their unsecured WiFi hotspots. Hyenas are much more relaxed about that sort of thing.

Meh. I don't understand the being annoyed. I always thought being in step that way could look pretty interesting (especially if there are only two people. It can look kind of imposing, actually).

The hyenas are cool but i heard that there were plans to attach routers to marching bands. True roaming, and you don't have to stream the music!

Re: Midnight's Mutant Motorcycle Madness Random Banter #90
Fret hand shorter, plucking hand longer, but too long and they break easy. Once had to glue a painfully split nail back together before preforming a Bach piece in front of 500 people. One of my old teachers gave me the advice that you should just be able to feel the nail of your picking hand if you run the fingertip across your skin.
On a complete tangent. I have just eaten a whole Mint flavour chocolate orange (the brand is chocolate orange, its not mint and orange combined) Should I feel proud? I did share a bit.Why cannot life be simple? I am simple, therefore surely something that i try to do must also be simple

Re: Midnight's Mutant Motorcycle Madness Random Banter #90
I've got a question. Regarding quote identification. I seem to recall a quote from somewhere that went something like "We can take 'em- with science." The thing is, a friend of mine also knows this quote, and we both remember it being from Army of Darkness. Yet upon watching the movie more recently, we didn't notice the line.
It seems odd that we're both confused about this. Are we both crazy, or does this quote actually exist somewhere?

A google search shows that it was from Army of Darkness, the full quote being "We can take these deadites, we can take 'em... with science". You can even download an audio clip of it.

Meh, it's hard for me to just sit down when at work. I like to be constantly doing something.
Too bad they threw away my mural of Regina and other things that I made at McDonald's. That is true boredom at work...

Re: Midnight's Mutant Motorcycle Madness Random Banter #90
Guys, I need help.
Know when you have a song stuck in your head like crazy? Of course you do. I know how to deal with that. I just supersaturate it into my daily routine and it goes away. However, I have 2 songs right now, at the same time. And not only does it sound bad, that means everytime I try to remove one song via the saturation method, the other one climbs to fever pitch, and it's absolutely impossible!
I need like, some combination of advice and alcohol.

Re: Midnight's Mutant Motorcycle Madness Random Banter #90
I know that from personal experience when trying to sleep.
One song stuck in your head: Annoying.
Two songs stuck in your head: Very annoying.
Three or more songs stuck in your head: Nearly going mad.
Plus a trilling sound going through your head whenever you try to get rid of the rest: Forget your sleep and start to write.
It's the only thing that helps for me. As well as blacking out and falling down half dead from sleep deprivation after some hours.
Alcohol doesn't work fast enough IMHO.
