I'm not a mod, but I'd imagine it probably depends on what you are "plugging." Also, in the past, when people asked what board a topic should go in, Roland St. Jude said:

Assuming you're referring to your youtube channel, I think the best place is probably in your signature, assuming none of the content violates board rules in other ways. MAYBE in the media discussion section if you want to foster conversation about your channel and its topics, and you expect people to have discussions about it regularly.

To piggy-back off that, note that if you do make a thread or post about your channel, don't double post or constantly make new threads. If people are interested, they'll talk about it. If not, it happens.

You will probably also want to review the sections of the site rules under "Commercial (For-Profit) Advertising" and "Advertising/Linking" to make sure you're completely clear on what is and isn't allowed.

If you happen to create commercial RPG content, there's also the Member-Produced Commercial Content thread here: https://forums.giantitp.com/showthre...ercial-Content (which isn't mentioned in the site rules, but is allowed as an exception to the more general rule - you can tell it's allowed because it was posted by a mod using red text, which is how mods communicate official announcements).
