Perhaps that is a side effect of his Dashing Swordsman level...

And why not have Durkon just cast Speak With Dead to interrogate them? I'm pretty sure that that would be solid evidence.

I wonder how this assassination plot will end up.

Speak with Dead needs the corpse, which was left back in Azure City.

If people could contact dead spirits without the body, they could have called Roy up three months ago!

Ah, right. Obviously, dragging enemy corpses isn't high on the priority list.

Still, there are probably other divinations that would help. But, I guess its clarity as "evidence" is questionable. And Kubota would probably pull a Cliffport and say it's an illusion.

Kubota's reaction was expected, but it's nice to know that the fate of House Kato rests on a less biased group of beings. I also enjoyed Hinjo and Elan's conversation as it displays a nice perspective of their different alignments and how they see things. They actually play off each other well.
