Whip, net, and bola proficiency?

Anybody know of a class that has whip, net, and/or bola proficiency? Preferably all three.

You can get proficiency in all exotic weapons with a dip in Master of Masks (as long as you are using the Gladiator mask).

Crimson Scourge gets to pick one of the three (bola, net or whip) as a bonus proficiency.

Exoticist fighters get three exotic weapons of their choice at level 1.

Sea kin have racial weapon familiarity with nets and tridents and can treat them as simple weapons.

Bards are proficient with whips. Crimson scourges are proficient with any one of whip, net, or bolas of their choice.

I had a Character like this, and I was taking -4 to all my attacks. After discussing with my DM, he knew I was playing the background of the character and he changed my starting weapons to be “Stringed, Woven, or Braided.”

My character only ever used the three weapons you mentioned or a bow. He also wasn’t a class for melee fighting, so it wasn’t the focus of my character’s contribution.

Try talking to the DM first.

You can also get proficiency in all exotic weapons by binding the psionic vestige The Triad, but it's probably not feasible for most builds.

Any weapon proficiency feat (including Martial Weapon Proficiency or Shield Proficiency [since shields are bludgeoning weapons]) will give you proficiency with an aptitude/morphing weapon regardless of what form it's in. Alternatively, add skillful to the weapon, instead of taking the feat.

Targeteer fighter will grant bolas, and net.

So long as you take Exotic Weapon Proficiency with one of them, Warblade's Weapon Aptitude class feature will allow you to switch around between them since they're all exotic weapons.

The Iron Chef competition right now is for Crimson Scourge PrC from Cityscape, which get all three as a bonus (pick one, though).

This would be the simplest, if allowed (its from filthy dragon magazine). Just dip another class for martial weapons. Still, I was hoping for some kind of blood hound esque class that would grant them (which crimson scourge does, but only 1).

I was about to suggest Poison Dusk, they are an awesome race, you could dip bard then do the rest of your build though them having -2 cha does damper that...

Thayan Slaver gives whip and net (plus the spiked chain).

Took a look at my character to see what the DM had decided, and my weapon proficiency had been changed to “Sticks & Strings” weapon proficiency.

I could only use weapons from wood or braided materials. The DM allowed Whip, Net, Bola, Staff, and Longbow (Stick with a String).

I did play 4 levels before the DM allowed the change.
