"Perhaps." Marû observed the game of fetch going on. "Is that your daughter?"

"Delilah's" Eris shook her head "She adopted Gina when she discovered her parents were... Gone. She had been kidnapped for a ritual" she explained to him making sure to not be heard by the kid "Thanks to Delilah's, Petra's and everybody else's efforts she's healing slowly. Oh uhm Petra's my Steed- but she's Gina's dog now. I thought she needed her more"

"That is a noble use for a Steed," Marû said without a hint of irony. "Tomorrow morning?"

[Valmark]

"Tomorrow morning, I think. So that you don't react badly, Malyanna is helping us- her illusions are what will allow us to get in without -hopefully- having to fight while still being able to ask around and investigate" Eris explained to him.
"I said I think because she stood up and left while Sending to Sirthis. I'm thinking she'll meet him first then come back"

"That bodes well," Marû said with dripping sarcasm. "I'd best ensure the forest is protected. I will see you tomorrow morn."

[Valmark]

Eris decided to not ask if that was a general druidic way to say goodbye or if he was making sure nobody harmed his own personal forest. Though she was curious.
"Very well- we'll see each other tomorrow morning" she waved him off, figuring he would cloud his way out again.

Marû walked away, leaning on his cane, toward the forest.

Don't think so about Sirthis but Eris has that tavern crawl with Stacia, if she's good with it.

Sirthis would have but it's something I thought of only recently and he tecnically doesn't have the spell required prepared in his sheet.

Stacia was down for a tavern crawl and walked with Eris up to the nearest one.
"Learn any fun drinking games while we were apart?"

[Valmark]

"Exactly one which you likely already heard" Eris said "Although I can think of new one. One of us rolls a pair of dice- let's say I do. You have to guess what I rolled and then I guess wether it's actually higher or lower then the number you said. If it turns out I'm right you take sips equal to the difference between your guess and the roll, if not I do. If you guess the exact roll I have to finish the cup then you start rolling" she proposed.
"Like, if you say 7 and I say 'higher' and the roll is a 10 you take three sips. If I had said 'lower' I would have taken three sips. If you had said 10 I would have drank a whole cup and you'd play the roller"

"This sounds stupidly complicated," Stacia said, sitting and calling for some ciders. "Let's do it. Got your dice?"

"Directly from the Shadowfell" Eris nodded pulling out dice of black iron- she took two of them, asking for an empty cup to roll the dice inside and keep them hidden.
"Do you want to start rolling?"

"Nah, you're good. And I'm going to guess your total is seven."

"Hi- actually, I should say lower, I think" Eris stated then- and rolled the dice.

Stacia lifted the cup and laughed in Eris's face. "Ha! I got it exact. We don't have that in the rules, so I decide it means you take a full seven sips."

[Valmark]

"That's- come on" Eris pouted "We have that in the rules but I'll take your version" she stuck her tongue out at Stacia and then took seven sips out of her mug instead of fully downing it. Not that there was much difference.
"You roll. And since I'm not boring I'll say nine" although perhaps not as tactically smart.

"Well then I'm gonna say less." Stacia rolled and lifted the cup.

"...suddenly, this game doesn't look as good as I thought" Eris said when she uncovered the dice and chuckled, then drank twice.
"I swear you're not staying sober after the next round. Five!" she exclaimed that.

"I say the number, you guess less or more," Stacia reminded her. "Seven."

The switch between the roles was meant to happen only when the exact number is guessed but this is fine too.

"Uh... Less then, I guess" Eris decided then.

Stacia lifted up the cup. "Drink up."

The game continued until Eris was very, very drunk.

"I..." Eris looked at the dice slumped on the table "...heeeeey, wanna *hic* burn shome diche?" she asked while her mind had registered those two black cubes as the source of all the twirling the world was doing at the moment.

Stacia laughed. "Yeah, do it."

[Valmark]

Eris beamed and put her index behind her thumb, charging a flick.
"Cador ahash!" she exclaimed happily butchering the pronunciation of Leff's incantation and flicked the die away, then looked horribly depressed.
"Heeey Sta... My finger isn't burning..." she pouted and her wings drooped a bit.

[Xihirli]

"Do you think you absorbed Leff?" Stacia asked, chuckling. "Come on, let's get you home."

[Valmark]

"You're right! I gotta make it mine!" She looked at the other dice and repeated the same flick but this time she yelled "Eris fire!"

...she looked like a very sad tiefling because no flame came out this time either.

Stacia chuckled. "Alright, let's take these dice to Leff so she can burn them." She picked up the one on the floor.

[Valmark]

"Yay!" Eris jumped up wobbly, making a very unstable victory pose. Her tail thumped on the ground trying to pick up the other die, incapable of the motor skills required for picking up such a small cube.

[Xihirli]

Stacia picked it up and offered Eris a shoulder to lean upon. “Aright, big girl, let’s go.”

[Valmark]

"I can walk!" Eris declared, then stumbled on her own tail and crashed into the ground.


"...ouch...mmmmmmmaybbbbbeeeee I can't" she admitted and pulled herself up leaning on Stacia.
