The Ixitxachitl Scouts swim to attack Akula, with two hitting for 6 and 9 damage respectively (sneak attacks).

Cordelia's Enlarge Person completes and Akula grows larger.

The party moves towards and into the pool to fight the evil manta-ray-people, with Akula's initial attack skewering one lethally with his harpoon. Cordelia and Tillandi cast spells to empower their allies. Kitten defends Akula, missing with her bite attack as she dives into the pool. Finally, Firi'Sar dashes from the wooden door, drinking an extract and shrinking as he goes.

The Ixitxachitl Scouts go into a frenzy, swarming Akula and biting viciously. Two find purchase, flanking the Darfellan and biting him in especially tender spots as they splash about in their native habitat. Finally, as Cordelia finishes her spell, Akula grows as large as an ogre, towering out of the water and ready to lay waste to his hated foes!

Akula N'Kuttik "Shark Splitter" Akula lifts the struggling Ixitiachi out on the tip of the harpoon as he expands and throws it at the onrushing 4 others! Three of the Ixitxachitl Scouts roll saves - two pass, one fails (light-blue one is entangled).
Cordelia's Entangle spell throws about sea urchins, hitting the three Ixitxachitl that started in the area of effect. All three fail their saves against the urchin venom. However, they are only sickened, not nauseated, due to repeated exposure to the urchins as they have guarded this area. (The two dark blue ones and the light-blue one are sickened).

The Ixitxachitl Scouts move and attack, two (flanking) on Akula, one (not-flanking) on Akula, and one on Firi'Sar.
Two bites hit Akula, both with sneak attack, dealing 16 total damage (penalty from sickened already applied). The non-flanking attack missed.
The bite attack on Firi'Sar missed.
Two Ixitxachitl Scouts swim 5-ft away from Firi'Sar and the dying-Akula into deeper water.

Firi'Sar and one Ixitxachitl Scout pass their saves for ending the turn in the area of effect of the Entangle spell.

The scene at the pool descends into utter chaos as members of the party enchant the seaweed to entangle their enemies, attack and kill one Ixitxachitl, injure another, heal Akula, and dive into the pool next to the enlarged Darfellan. For their part, the Ixitxachitl add to the chaos as they suffer from an unexpected side effect of the Entangle spell - the seaweed has kicked up sea urchins from the floor, which poke the manta-ray-people, causing three of them to be sickened and less effective with their attacks!

Unfortunately, Akula cannot withstand the repeated attacks and falls, unconscious in the (relatively) shallow water. His enlarged form floats on his back as his life-blood flows into the churning water and the Ixitxachitl retreat into deeper water as they prepare to change targets...

By my math Akula is at -1 HP and dying. There are multiple ways for him to be saved, including passing a check to stabilize. Firi'Sar is not entangled, but if he remains in the area of effect of the spell he will have to save at the end of every round (DC 14 Reflex) or become entangled. Two of the original Ixitxachitl are dead, one is injured (by Kitten), and all of the remaining three are sickened. One of these is also entangled.

If you have questions of the map is unclear, please let me know. This is already proving to be a challenging combat with lots of effects going on! Begin Round 3!

Tillandi shoots and misses N8 before dropping her bow and trying to drag Akula out of the water.
Cordelia uses Psychic Strike, overwhelming the mind of the Ixitxachtil Scout at O8, dealing 3 damage and making it Shaken for one round.
Kitten follows the Ixitxachtil Scout and attacks, hitting twice with her claws for 5 total damage. The Ixitxachtil is disabled, at 0 HPs.
Firi'Sar attacks with his rapier, hitting the entangled/sickened Ixitxachtil for 7 damage.

The disabled Ixitxachtil Scout withdraws as a standard action.
The injured Ixitxachtil attacks Firi'Sar back, missing badly.
Firi'Sar parries and ripostes, but also misses with his attack.
Then the injured Ixitxachtil breaks free of the entangling seaweed and takes a 5-ft "step" into deeper water.
The two sickened Ixitxachtil converge on Firi'Sar, though one becomes entangled in the process, and attack. Both miss the elf.

After the shock of the previous round, the conflict grows a bit more cautious as the party continues to punish the Ixitxachtil for dropping Akula. Though Tillandi's shot misses, all three of the other active heroes (counting Kitten) connect with their attacks. None of the Ixitxachtil go belly-up, but two are badly injured and begin to swim away. As Tillandi struggles to pull Akula's limp form out of the water (she is only partially successful, as he weighs twice her "drag" amount) Firi'Sar tries to swim towards the thin, rocky beach. The two remaining Ixitxachtil approach to attack, both missing. Firi'Sar's returning strike also misses, but one of the "demon manta-rays" gets entangled in the animated seaweed, struggling to swim freely and finding itself vulnerable to future attack!

Akula N'Kuttik "Shark Splitter" Akula had fallen, his last memory of feeling weak, blood pooling in the water, surrounded by ixititachi as so many of his kin had experienced. Moments later his eyes opened, fighting and shouts echoing around him as he saw Tillandi and Cordelia by his head that lay on the rocks. Raising slightly he looks about and see's a manta creature by his feet and lashes out savagely. A muttered "A moment, I need space, I will crush them..."

Firi'Sar hits, injuring the entangled Ixitxachtil.
Cordelia revives Akula.
Akula and Kitten kill the adjacent Ixitxachtil.
Tillandi invokes freezing power and kills the disabled Ixitxachtil.

Facing a fight of two vs five, the remaining Ixitxachtil Scouts flee.

As Cordelia revives Akula the other adventurers stab, claw and bite, and invoke divine power to attack the remaining Ixitxachtil. Akula comes to his senses and reflexively kicks the one near him, and as it dies it is clear that the party will win this battle. The remaining demon-mantas swim for the safety of the cave entrance and open ocean, leaving the party behind.

Victory! Well done! (I will be doing levels by milestone, so no need to track XP.)

The party is left with the same decision they had before Akula's bold challenge - do they explore the sea caves or go through the door into (presumably) dryer tunnels?

"Akula, you really should think before charging in next time," Cordelia gently scolds as she heals his remaining wounds with the wand. "You could have been killed."

Meanwhile Kitten swims back to shore and comes up to headbutt her leg, leaving a damp impression. Cordelia scritches her between the ears. "Good girl Kitten, you did good."

Akula N'Kuttik "Shark Splitter" As the manta folk fled Akula leapt to his now (enhanced) height and stepped once, twice... then stopped in a splash. As they fled he dragged the bodies of the dead ones to the beach, tossing them casually them in a pile. Looking at the others he hands his head and offers a low bow of apology. "I have a debt to all you." He mutters, grimacing at the pain in his wounds. He rests a hand on Cordelia's shoulder and meets her gaze as she heals the rest of the wounds. "By Procan's trident I shall not be foolish again, I was lucky to be fighting alongside folks such as yourselves. We were victorious." As he shrinks he searches the bodies and looks for any markings that would tell him of their clan.

"Always heard it said, don't waste it, you won't find yourself wanting it. With your leave, I'm gonna go check out that doorway." Surprisingly quick for the length of his feet, Firi'Sar dashes back down the hallway, his size lending aid to his efforts to remain unnoticed.

The Ixitxachtil all come from the "Blood Demon" clan, a vicious, but small, brood of violent Ixitxachtil that are devout in their worship of the Demon Lord Demogorgon, the two-headed Prince of Demons. None of them carry any treasure on them.

Firi'Sar hears no sounds beyond the heavy wooden door, and opening it he finds a dark hallway. To the right, about ten feet away, is another door, much like the one he has cracked open. To the left, the hallway turns 90° to the right.

Sorry for the delay - I am really failing to keep to the one post every couple of days goal lately. I will try to get things rolling better.

For the ease of my adjudication, please decide on one direction to go - I am fine with either way, but please don't split up the party!

Do you explore the partially-submerged sea caves of the urchin farm, or go into the portion that is more likely to be inhabited by humanoid Lotus Dragons?

"Let's do the Lotus Dragons first," Tillandi suggested, "we can later come back for that Blood Demon clan. I prefer not to have demon worshippers in my city. But if we go into those caves, those of us who can't swim as well will need water breathing and freedom of movement spells cast on them and we first have to get those."

Unless there was a big disagreement she would follow Firi'Sar, at a distance, so his stealth would not be ruined by her, but close enough she could cover him should there be a need. When they noticed the door and the rest of the corridor, she looked at him.
"Which one," she whispered.

Firi'Sar turns back to Tillandi with wide, dark eyes, oddly at ease in the lightless tunnels. He nods towards the door. "You watch that one." Turning to the bend in the hallway, he prowls away almost soundlessly.

If we're doing the rule of 2, I'll second farothel's vote and start with the lotus dragons. I'm sure reduce person will end shortly, if it hasn't already, but Firi'Sar will continue exploring where there aren't even doors in the way, first.

He grins at Cordelia, "Now we hunt thief in lair, most dangerous prey of all!"

As the party creeps out the door, they listen and look around, trying to determine if Nemien Roblach has alerted the Lotus Dragons of the party's approach. The halls are quiet, though the air is mostly fresh and clean smelling. Firi'Sar looks down the turn of the hallway and sees a door down the way, with another turn to the right past that point. He gets the faint whiff of a smell - meat stew, perhaps?

Tillandi listens to the wooden door and hears whispered voices: "You heard the boss - we need to be on guard. Open the door already!" "I'm trying, but this bar is stuck! Help me lift it!"
