I think I might have gone from "not eating much fiber" to "eating a normal amount of fiber, or possibly more" too quickly.

Don't forget there are two kinds of fiber, and they do opposite things. Soluble fiber drinks up water and slows you down, insoluble fiber runs through you and cleans up things as it does. So for instance Carrots are not a good way to get 50 grams of fiber a day, I have torn things going that route before.

It sounds like what you'd want is a swamp cooler, which is the opposite of a dehumidifier.

If I had infinite resources to work with, My ideal home would be a fortress on the outside and cozy on the inside.

Outside of town proper, the property would have a high stone wall with a gate with tall trees and rose bushes planted strategically to both give a cozy natural feel and to limit the ability of anyone who managed to jump the wall to sneak around the property.

The house proper would have an old-fashioned cast-iron fence around it and heavy doors with multiple locks. Security cameras on the wall and around the house, windows made of shatter-resistant glass.

The inside would be a simple bedroom, a den equipped with bookshelves and a comfortable chair, a kitchen(I don't particularly need a dining room,) a separate TV room, a room for exercise equipment, and a large space for storage.

    Safe and cozy.

    The snakes of the guns?

If the snakes, those are just as dangerous to me or, say, the delivery guy, as they are to intruders. It only takes one pizza guy to get bitten by a venomous rattlesnake before I'm blacklisted and have to go into town to pick up my stuff myself.

A swamp cooler uses the heat of vaporization of water to reduce the air temperature (and increase the humidity). A dehumidifier leaves the temperature constant and reduces the humidity. One is for places that are hot and dry, the other for places that are decent and humid. Neither is perfect, and neither works south of the Mason-Dixon line and east of the Mississippi, but they both improve the habitability of dwellings.

    Absolutely.

I know there are plenty of peopled who wouldn't of course, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I of course assume perfect immortality means "I can choose to end it at any time."

There's a fair number of fates I would consider substantially worse than death, personally.

But on happier topics, a present arrived today. Nathaniel Garro, a Warhammer character I've wanted for a while but never pulled the trigger on purchasing.

Yeah, but perfect immortality negates most of the things that people think of as "worse than death."

The way I define it pretty much the only thing perfect immortality and the other stuff in the package I'm offering doesn't protect from is getting stranded in the cold void of space, and honestly, I'm not seeing how that's gonna happen.

If being smarter, faster, stronger, tougher, healthier, more able to work without rest, cleverer, wiser, and better able to learn than any man or woman who has ever lived by a factor so great that people would believe that you were a god if you told them so doesn't allow you the means to quickly acquire all the currency you could ever need with minimal effort then I think you have bigger problems than needing to work.

Go make a resume and put "smarter, faster, stronger, tougher, healthier, more able to work without rest, cleverer, wiser, and better able to learn than any man or woman who has ever lived by a factor so great that you would believe that I am a god" on a resume, see how it works out for ya. Unless you're encouraging becoming a supercriminal, of course.

Also, most of those weren't stipulated. You said healthy and immortal. Intelligence, wisdom, stamina, etc. are not part of what most people think when you say healthy and immortal. If you want riders like that, then explicitly attach them.

ETA: Actually scratch that. You did say godlike mental and physical attributes. But still no, because then you have the Dr. Manhattan problem.

Healthy and immortal was part of a package that included all of that and also a perfect body that you can change to look like whatever r you want.

I assumed by your cheat-code comment that you understood what I meant by Godlike physical and mental attributes.

Edit: The doctor Manhattan problem comes from the combination of being nigh-omnipotent while lacking free will.

    Neither applies in this case.

Yep, I'll cop to being wrong on that. Sorry, my brain fizzled out for a bit there.

And I edited my last post to address your own edit.

TL/DR, in my proposed package you don't see the future, retain free will, and aren't a nigh-omnipotent reality warper so the Doctor Manhattan problem doesn't apply.

Still applies. You are a human among ants. You yourself put it succinctly; your mind is godlike compared to everyone else. You still very much have the Dr. Manhattan problem, except you can't fly to Mars. You're just stuck in a land of idiots. It would be unbelievably isolating.
