But I thought wrong. The benches are different.

A restaurant could have different benches in different areas, but both Harold and Haley look pretty distressed and I don't think anyone in either says the strip title. Still, better try than I've been able to find. (^_^)b

JNinja, thank you already for this lovely sense of frustration. (^_~) They're obviously very specific, well-defined clues that feel like they should all-but give it away^*... i.e. a fair challenge, and worth spending the time to try to puzzle out.

I haven't had as much time as I'd hoped to look, and couldn't turn anything up in the Azure City New Year despite giving it a second and third look... not to say it's not there, just that I couldn't find it. If it's more generally Elan + Haley and someone else + someone else, I'm afraid I'm out of ideas.

I'd imagine it's "the asker has up to 48 hours to reveal the answer if nobody solved the question, and the 48 hour mark denotes an open question". Nothing stopping anyone from dropping hints or the answer early, but few people do to keep the game up. I dunno, that sounds like a good compromise to me.

Sorry I didn't reveal after 48 hours, but also I like this question. I'll continue it unless everyone is tired of it.

To recap: Two different strips set in the same room, with similar titles. Both feature romantic couples.

Here's another hint for this round: one strip is indeed from the New Year, the second strip is later. And both titles start with the same word.

Works for me - I was going with the zombie dragon not flying around in circles as he expected but yours works just as well.
