Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXI: Find Me an Epic Thread!
#206 final panel. At least that's a novel way of phrasing this. The usual versions are: an corn, a squirrel holding an acorn, a squirrel holding a nut, jam, jar of jam, an adventure, a “bullseye lantern” (whatever that is). I should post linked quotes but I'm lazy. OQ.

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXI: Find Me an Epic Thread!
Update: let me collect the acorn ones at least.
Apparently that strip induces a complusion where everyone repli to these questions with “I'm on an adventure!”. It's odd. It works for “jam” as well, not only “acorn”.
You have forty pages to invent a good thread title based on this. Something about “nuts” or “squirrel-brained” maybe?Last edited by b_jonas; 2021-03-08 at 01:46 PM.

It may be the intended answer, but considering the Mechane and Tinkertown I wouldn't expect it to likely not exist.

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXI: Find Me an Epic Thread!
Well, to be fair...
There have been 20 complete threads of this type. That means roughly 20*30*50=30,000 posts. If we assume that a quarter to a third of such posts are questions, then that's 8000 to 10,000 questions asked about only 1200 strips, some of which are far more suitable for questions than others. So that's 7 or 8 questions for every strip; such repetitions are inevitable. Luckily, nobody actually memorizes all those thousands of questions...right?
Also, taking the OQ: What contains fragrance?Last edited by ByzantiumBhuka; 2021-03-09 at 07:38 PM.

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXI: Find Me an Epic Thread!
Of course not. We just memorize the strips that come up the most frequently in the answers. #389, #87, #122, #1, #387, #113, #388, #339, #501. I actually downloaded the newer threads in 2021-11 to redo the tally, and the three most frequent ones are still the same.

Been done no doubt, but find 2 quotes from the same sci fi franchise in the same panel.
Also... the contains fragrance question above - the Aton stuff is implied to but I think that's a reference to the Keoghtum in #863, which explicitly doesLast edited by Mister Tom; 2021-03-10 at 07:29 AM. Reason: Oh, and...

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXI: Find Me an Epic Thread!
I think the OQ was claimed with the two sci-fi in the same panel a few spots above.
(when the next OQ actually comes around, I am going to come back to the singing about a vehicle that doesn't exist question as my intended answer is not a trolley, though that was an unexpected possibly correct answer.)

You mean like "Because I'm holding a THERMAL DETONATOR!" and 'Pray I don't alter it any further." except in the same panel?

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXI: Find Me an Epic Thread!
Mister Tom, did you mean to say strip instead of panel? Because what Tarquin says right before the thermal detonator line comes up could be considered more or less a Jabba quote. Also, what Gennji says in that panel is close to the SW bounty hunter's "I want fifty thousand", but not a quote...
C3PO: Uh, the mighty Jabba asks why he must pay fifty thousand.Last edited by enq; 2021-03-11 at 05:26 PM.
