Renowned Canadian actor Christopher Plummer has died. While he was in innumerable films, stage productions, cartoons and even a few video games, I think it's fair to say for most people on this forum he will be best remembered as the hammy Shakespeare-spouting villain from Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

Such a great actor, one of those who always gave a top notch performance, no matter what he was in. I always loved the quote he gave about appearing in the 1979 Star Wars knockoff Starcrash "Give me Rome any day. I'll do porno in Rome, as long as I can get to Rome."

But yeah, probably will always remember him best in Star Trek VI. Best adversary from the films outside of Khan. And Knives Out was a great one to go out on.

I think The Sound of Music is probably the other thing he'll be most remembered from. In Planet of Hats, all Chang's quotes are given a The Sound of Music flavouring.
