    Default Psionic Pact Magic (PEACH)

I needed to convert the Pact Magic system by Radiance House into a psionic class. I thought I might as well post it here for anyone who cares to take a look. Feedback welcomed!

    Spoiler: Pactmaker Archetype: Psionic Pactmaker
    Show

Power Points: The Psionic Pactmaker gets as many power points as a wilder of her level (including modifiers from having a bonus charisma). She uses her binder level as her manifester level for the purposes of any powers she has access to, and uses her charisma to calculate save DCs. For feats like Expanded Knowledge, her maximum power level known is equal to that of a Marksman of her level (1st for levels 1-4, 2nd for levels 2-8, 3rd for levels 9-12, and then 4th for levels 13+). However, she does not choose powers known in the usual way, and nor does she have a list of powers associated with her class. See Constellation Powers for more information.

Psionic Bind Spirit: The Psionic Pactmaker uses psionic energy to summon a spirit to make a pact with. It is uncertain how this process works, but mechanically it functions exactly like Bind Spirit except in the following ways.
When the Psionic Pactmaker is not psionically focussed, her spirits' physical signs are always displayed, even if she has made a good pact. However, if she has made a good pact with a spirit, then while she is psionically focussed she may hide or reveal the spirit's physical sign as a free action.
The Psionic Pactmaker may not select (alteration) binder secrets. However, she may choose metapsionic feats as either feats or binder secrets, counting her binder level as her manifester level. She may use these feats when using a spirit's major ability. The power point cost to use the feat must be no higher than half her binder level.
Finally, if you are suffering the personality influence of a spirit and act against that influence, the effects are different. Instead of a penalty to dice rolls for 24 hours, the Psionic Pactmaker suffers a psychic ennervatioin, losing ML power points (or hit points if she has already used up all her power points), losing psionic focus and becoming confused until the end of her next turn. The chance of an ennervation triggering is 10% per level of the spirit. This alters Bind Spirit, but does not make the archetype incompatible with other archetypes that modify the ability.

Constellation Powers: Whenever the Psionic binds a spirit, she receives a power known. She may choose from a selection of powers, depending on the constellation of the spirit, and retains access to the power for as long as she is bound to the spirit. Unlike a constellation aspect, they receive the power whether they made a good or a poor pact (but see Surging Spirits, below). She also treats all the powers associated with that constellation as being on her class's power list for the purposes of using psionic items. She may only choose a power if she is able to learn powers of that level.
In addition, she learns a psionic talent depending on the constellation.
The powers associated with each constellation are as follows:

    This ability replaces Constellation Aspects.

Psionic Combination: At 4th level, a Psionic Pactmaker learns to bind more than one spirit onto her soul. Unlike a normal Pactmaker, there is no hard limit on how many spirits a Psionic Pactmaker can bind at once. However, it takes her more psionic energy to bind a spirit when she has more spirits already bound to her soul. Binding a spirit costs a number of power points equal to the spirit's DC multiplied by the number of spirits she already has bound. (Reserve spirits and similar abilities do not count towards this total unless they would normally count towards the cap on the number of spirits a Pactmaker can have bound.)

Surging Spirits: If a Psionic Pactmaker makes a good pact, she may augment the corresponding Constellation Power as if she were using a wild surge, but without a chance of psychic ennervation. The bonus received is +1 at first level, and increases by 1 at 4th, 9th and 16th levels. This ability replaces Bind Additional Spirit.

    Spoiler: General Archetype: Psionic Binder
    Show

This archetype can be added on to any class (or archetype) which gets the Bind Spirit class feature, but not Bind Additional Spirit.

Wild Talent: The Psionic Binder gains Wild Talent as a bonus feat at 1st level. This provides her with the psionic power necessary to bind spirits. A character who is already psionic instead gains the Psionic Talent feat.
Psionic Bind Spirit: The Psionic Binder uses psionic energy to summon a spirit to make a pact with. It is uncertain how this process works, but mechanically it functions exactly like Bind Spirit except in the following ways.
When the Psionic Binder is not psionically focussed, her spirits' physical signs are always displayed, even if she has made a good pact. However, if she has made a good pact with a spirit, then while she is psionically focussed she may hide or reveal the spirit's physical sign as a free action.
The Psionic Binder may not select (alteration) binder secrets.

    Spoiler: Altered Options
    Show

The following character options work differently for psionic binders and psionic pactmakers.
(Alteration) Binder Secrets: Cannot be selected, but instead you can take psionic feats.
Suppress Physical Sign: Instead of its usual effects, this feat allows you to keep a spirit's physical sign suppressed even without psionic focus if you make a good pact. With a poor pact, you can also suppress the sign as a free action, but only while you are psionically focussed (exactly like making a good pact without this feat).

Prestige classes which progress your binder level also improve your manifester level and power points per day, but only once for every two binder levels improved. If the prestige class grants (or improves) the Bind Additional Spirit ability or equivalent, then instead it progresses manifester level and PP at the same rate as binder level. Prestige classes which improve your manifester level improve your binder level at the same rate. For "theurge" classes which already improve both binder level and manifesting, you may only use one set of improvements on your binding class - choose this when you take your first level of the theurge class, and ignore the other. If you have levels in another manifesting class, you may use the manifester level progression to improve that, but one progression (of your choice) does not increase your power points per day.
