Default 5e Help fighting against Confusion (Spell and Monster Ability)

What it says on the tin. Playing a 6 lvl character who is struggling against a creature that causes confusion. And because of the timing of the status being applied (start of turn) and when it is removed (end of next turn), it is really difficult to combat since I need two saves to avoid being confused.

It's a homebrew monster that's targeting int saves, which I dumped.

So any help that isn't a feat or a spell to help mitigate this problem would be fantastic.

When questioning matters of whether something in a game is "Broken", one should always consider if it is being implimented beyond its designed intent. This is in addition to looking at how mechanically healthy the questioned material is.

    1. Hope that another party member can kill this thing for you.
    2. Disengage, then flee and let the beastie live out the rest of its life.

I can't stand homebrew creatures that make PCs useless and leave players helpless.
