Yeah, that was Torrin's staff, though I'm guessing the servant is recognizing it from Ardon's stay at the Bear/Owl Estate.

The obvious identity of the person is El, but if the author was going for the obvious answer, why not just name her here? I'm putting ten gold on a plot twist next page. Odi is going to say he's in love with Ardon.

Honestly I feel like this best fits LSN's writing style, but I wouldn't rule out Odie just meaning Ell (not like him just saying her name would mean anything to Kina without the context of her being "someone else").

Also I really don't understand Odon shipping. They are making progress as friends, but I still feel they would make a very toxic couple. That is not to mention the more minor details that Ardon's attraction seems to be one sided (which I call minor because the audience could just be mislead on that) and that Ardon is now married (a detail Ardon and Teleese might not mind, but Odie might).

Oh, haha, I completely missed that. A week is a while I guess. Well that answers half of it. I was mostly wondering how much overlap time there was where Ardon was still in the Feywild and Odie's people had been enslaved in the Owl/Bear estate.

Meh. That doesn't seem to be Chandea's style. Besides all Ardon did to her was leave at the alter which, while still bad especially when I say it like that, isn't as bad as things he did to the rest of the party. It's not Ardon's fault that they live in a messed up system where that was a death sentence for her.

Sure they don't actually like each other, but that doesn't mean that they are actively spiteful to each other.

I think it actually isn't, since the Tarrasque is (very loosely) based on a monster from Medieval French folklore.

The name and perhaps a couple of design ideas (like giving it a shell) are indeed based on the Tarasque (only one r).

Not that the Tarasque was very far from being an indestructible monster, since the legend says it was killed by villagers with sticks and stones. Like it was killing people left and right, but then a maiden pure of heart taught it about Jesus Christ, and so it became peaceful and didn't defend itself when the peasants came to avenge themselves.

Does the command chair give Ardon the ability to use his warlord powers on the Tarrasque when he otherwise wouldn't be able to do so? If not then it is still a superfluous position. LSN's tweet for that update suggests the chair isn't necessary, but I am pretty sure those can't actually be trusted for lore building.
