Default For All Mankind on Apple TV

I loved "The Expanse" and I can't stand family soap opera but we needed a space show with lighthearted moments that do not have rubber suited aliens and brightly colored jumpsuits.

The scenes with period music was one my favorite parts of the show. That and the cool space sequences.

    What do you think?

Do we need more good astronaut fiction on TV?

"Away" was meh. "The Right Stuff" on Disney+ was more enjoyable but FAM beats it on exciting space stuff.

I really enjoyed the anime "Planetes".

I've seen clips of For All Mankind on YouTube, and I like what I see. It's definitely my kind of cool, alternate history sci-fi thing, but unfortunately I don't have Apple TV, nor do I have any intention of getting it. Best I can hope for is a DVD release at this point.

The space nerd forum I go to got excited when the season 1 stinger was a flash foward to a sea dragon launch. there was some disapointment when season 2 said "original shuttle plan, all 20 of them" and included shuttles in lunar orbit. It will be interesting to see what they do with Delta Clipper and commercial spaceflight, when they get that far.
