Continuing in Dwarfish, "Is there anything we can do or anyone we can contact to put your soul to rest easy?"

After his answer Hardmender finds a spot under a tree and digs a grave to lay Stone Edgecliff to rest and carve a little tombstone for him and then says a quick prayer to Mishikal on the dwarfs behalf. Collecting the dwarves Axe, "hopefully this will be used to get some vengeance for you."

With all of these familiars here now, Calita dismisses her owl, leaving it in its pocket dimension. As she rides along with Hardmender, she shows the others the quick motion they can make to dismiss or summon their familiars too.

"If you want to keep your familiar safe until you need its help, you can dismiss it like this. And then summon it like this."

She keeps demonstrating and helping the others until they each have it mastered.

Judging dusk to be dark enough, MARK deployed his familiar. By now all members of the group had been equipped with their own - some of their chosen forms more or less useful.
He himself had improved his defense and offense again.
Once the little mechanical bird was close enough, he switched his sight with the familiar to get a clear view on the people ahead.

The four humans, a man, a woman and two young girls continue to move towards the group. They looked unarmed only a dagger in a sheath at the man's waist. Their aurochs fur is stained red from the dust, their skin is almost a light shade of purple which even the average intelligence could tell you is from cold skin exposure and the red dust. They still mumble Cold, cold... like they have a hard time registering what Calita is saying to them so fast.

Not wanting to put Hardmender in danger, Calita flies off of Kevin, her Auroch, and approaches the family. Once she gets within 10' of them she stops, with her hands in the air and palms open, she speaks loudly enough so that MARK can here.

"I'm going to cast a spell to warm some of your clothes. I can only cast it on two of you, though."

She uses prestidigitation to warm the shirts of the two smallest travelers, hoping MARK can help with the other two.

Zitreth keeps pace with Catila as she advances, as she's almost certain these are some kind of undead rather than just very cold people who can't communicate well. But for the moment she's not taking any hostile action based on that assumption, just making sure she can protect her friend if needed.

Components: V, S, M (tears inside a crystal vial worth at least 300 gp)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 hour

You call forth a shadowy spirit. It manifests in an unoccupied space that you can see within range. This corporeal form uses the Shadow Spirit stat block. When you cast the spell, choose an emotion: Fury, Despair, or Fear. The creature resembles a misshapen biped marked by the chosen emotion, which determines certain traits in its stat block. The creature determines when it drop to 0 hit points or when the spell ends.

The creature is an ally to you and your companions. In combat, the creature shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after your. It obeys your verbal commands (no action required by you). If you don’t issue any, it takes the Dodge action and it uses its move to avoid danger.

At Higher Levels. When you cast the spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, use the higher level wherever the spell’s level appears on the stat block.
