Baldur's Gate II Dialogs & info
Aside from Gamefaqs, where else can I look for more raw data from BG2?
It's the next game I'll run in 5e, and I'm hoping to find:
-Base prices for all magic items (throw out the 5e pricing and just use this + loot)
-Loot locations and values including GP
-Dialogue and names for NPCs
I thought I had run across most of this in the past, but can't find it now. Trying to reduce my prep time by being able to lean on pre-done data.

Re: Baldur's Gate II Dialogs & info
I feel like there was a program that had this kind of stuff...
Here we go. I was thinking of Infinity Explorer, because I am old, but the new version is Near Infinity.Last edited by LibraryOgre; 2021-05-04 at 01:48 PM.

Re: Baldur's Gate II Dialogs & info
Thanks. Everything is in chitin.key.
.Sto files show what the stores have. I can click View/Edit on an item to get to the full set of properties that has pricing.
There's no spreadsheet export option.
There seem to be multiple iterations of Bernard at the Copper Coronet. I know which one has the items the players will want (Mauler's Arm, etc.).
Wmart down at the bottom of the list have the optional merchants that sell the Robe of Vecna, and some other items that aren't must-buys but are pretty good.
.DLG has the dialogs. I can't find some of them (for example, Khan Zeraa, the dao djinn after the head of the Rakshasa Ihtafeer), but there's at least some.
Between this and Mikesrpgcenter, I think I can piece it all together mostly on the fly.
Thanks!
