Although, PolloMark, I think your stated TV may be off, unless you have a player missing this game. It doesn't look like you've factored in Pants' STR upgrade in your TV reckoning, and you might have missed something else too? I make your TV 1200.
I think I was adding the incorrect amount for the Str bonus. For some reason, I was thinking it was 30k instead of 50. My team value is definitely 1200, at least for this week. Some serious cuts are definitely on the horizon.

Hmm, dwarves this week; they were weak last season but their record is quite good out of the gates this time--though on a second look, they've had a relatively soft season so far and a bad loss to the only team they've faced with a strong scoring threat. Hopefully, that means we'll be able to win it on the wings with the doggos. Sorry, Froot Broot and Frank N. Berry, you're sacrificial line meat again.

    Week 5 Gameplan:

The Sneak King and our extra assistant coach have been running drills with the wolves this week, hoping that their speed will leave our annoying little opponents in the dust. Crazy Craving gets block and Honey Tree Evil Eye gets sure hands.

That useless 20000 in petty cash will go to, I don't know, local animal shelters.

    Gameplan for the coming week:

Mummy #1 gets Block (3 gameplan points), can't think of a good joke, just feels like he needs the power to stand up to the sauri.
Wight #4 gets Tackle (the other 2 points), because his handshakes clearly aren't working at all, maybe handtackles will work better.

Wow, talk about no good dead goes unpunished. Me and my big mouth! LOL
Don't forget to assign the bonus to someone.

    -----------

Orcs vs Woodsies. The two most famous teams battled it out in the rematch of last season's final. The final whistle couldn't be heard. The stadium knew what was happening and was going crazy with Buster's sprint in the final seconds. The orcs had beaten the elves in scoring, moving the ball, and injuries!

    WAAAGGH!!

The orc filled plains beyond the stadium joined in the battle shout. It reverberated back to the stadium, blowing out the eardrums of those of weaker bodies and terrorizing those of lesser minds. The psionic rapture converted those of other races to become diehard orc fans. Big Red himself even got caught up in the celebration, leaving plenty of splattered corpses around him. Fortunately Doc Mek had the brains to stay just out of range of the various instruments of destruction that he himself had designed and affixed to his Warboss.

The chaos lasted through the night. Even the deaf were kept up from the sonic rumbling. Those who weren't enthralled had to wonder: what would happen if the Killaz won the Cup?

As the week progressed Big Red prepared the team for the next game. The halflings normally should be a easy breeze of bloodletting. Big Red paid attention though. The Balldroppers had tripled their number of giant treemen! The team prepared to face the mixture of brute strength and squishy weaklings. It was time to build on their winning streak!

What a week! Week 5 is LIVE!

Great job to everyone on an action-packed week. Also, our Allstar match is schedule in 3 weeks (after week 7)! Not a bad time to look at that statistic chart by Cavir and that Injury Chart by Aedilred!

(also a HUGE shoutout to everyone writing previews. I read them all, and I am always thoroughly entertained!)

Iím not surprised to have lost a few players, but I am surprised we managed to take it to a tie. Well played Aedilred!

Winnings (1d6)[6] +2 for fame and preview

Apo- I feel it fitting for Aedilredís team to kill Manfredís Brother (plus I need to shed some TV) so Iím using it on Enan the Handsome. This handsome player is not done being handsome on the field yet!

No level ups this time and hardly any spp. Thatís not a good thing.

Whoo! Got a win! Undead are annoying though, so hard to injure.

Winnings (1d6+3)[7] +1 for win,+1 for Fame, +1 for Preview
Reroll if 3 or under: (1d6+3)[6]

    Fan Factor: (3d6)[15] vs 3

No level ups or deaths so that's about it.

Funny though, twice Oatlupec has been MVP and both times he's gotten injuried in that game. Truly, that's what the game is all about.

Hmm, I'm at 100 K. I want a Skink, but I really want a Kroxigar for my match against the Killarz. So I'm going to bank it. We'll see if I regret that against the Squares.

Our defensive strategy seemed to hold up but Durd seems to have put in a MVP performance. I didn't count on his being an effective blitzer. I never used it on my own ogres but Break Tackle is a killer. Well played Pollo, and sorry about the deaths!

Frogman, I'm guessing that the general way things went was that Durd dodged out of the line for the blitzes, and the tomb guardians then cleared the rest of the LOS, given how all the big guys seemed to be running around in the backfield?

Failed Go For Its have cost us two matches now by my reckoning but I'm not putting Sure Feet on a Tomb Guardian...

SPPs continue to climb slowly so still no new skills.

Fan factor goes down, ouch. I think our main problem as a team is the skills gap so adding more players won't help. I might buy another re-roll but I'll have to think about that.

Good question! For the match, it pretty much went that way. Durdís Break Tackle skill pulled him around the field freely, and Tomb Guardians ran around as a result.

The real surprise is that they even tried running with Tomb Guardians and their low AG. If I remember correctly though, it was late in the half, and no other players were around. It may have just been a forced situation, but itís still surprising.

    catcher Deena gets Block

2 GPP: 1 Regular Skill, or +1 AV
    Thrower Hippolyte gets Block

    reserve Apothecary for after match

    Week 6 write up
After a wild game against the elves the next match against the hard hitting Red Brick Killaz (Orcs), will be tough. Knowing the nature of orc teams the management has decided to bench a couple of regular players and bring on a couple of big guys that can handle the hard hitting orc team.
While the team can expect lots of bruises for certain undoubtedly there will be an injury or two so the apothecary has been placed on standby.

From the recap it looks like it was the last play of the half, so they had probably roamed upfield at will. I'm not sure why a Tomb Guardian was used for the scoring attempt but like you I presume there were no other players in range: the screenshots look that way too.

Which if so is better thinking from the AI than I've seen at times in the past: I've seen it squander similar scoring opportunities by pointlessly playing it safe on a final play.

While improving his hugging accuracy has merit, we've ultimately decided its better to make it easier to hug people in crowded situations; as such we will decline the +AG for the Jonathan and take Guard.
