PbP maps?
I want to run a PbP game, but I have no idea how to make a decent map so as to not confuse the players as to whats going on.
I realize you don't NEED a map, but it helps a lot when you can't speak to the person face to face, so...
Any tips on how to make battlemaps with Paint? I don't really have anything else avaliable.

on CORE we generally use Irony and it works great. not that you have to use the direct IP connection and not the site because it's bugged last I checked. It gives you a convenient block of text to drop into a spoiler tag.

You can also make nice maps in Inkscape (free). Because Paint is just ugly. I've been meaning to write a guide to making maps with Inkscape for some time, but I've just been too busy with school lately.
