I am mainly a MegaDrive-era fan (Genesis, for you Muricans ) so I would first like to see Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy against Robotnik and Metal Sonic.

Not that I dislike the newer characters. My favourite is Blaze, though.

I already knew about Knuckles from on-set pictures, where they use these big dolls.



It was also a given that he would start on the doctor's side. Not only was that the plot of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, but the first movie made the echidna tribe the villains of Sonic's tragic backstory. Can you believe it was originally going to involve some generic lizardmen?

As for the emerald, my big question is whether it is the green chaos emerald or the master emerald. I think it would be fun if it were the latter, and the other emeralds turned out to be within the characters, starting with blue in Sonic, yellow in Tails and red in Knuckles.

The first sonic movie was the last thing I saw in theaters in the before-fore times. I was hoping Dune would be the first I'd see after but there is a higher probability this will be what my friends want to see.

I like this idea. I never really dove into "Sonic lore" but the emeralds kinda seem to be "just there" in the original games.
