Hey everyone. Today I'm going to review the movie Candyman (2021) that I saw in Dolby Cinema in the morning.

So any Candyman (2021) is based on the remake of the 1990s original Candyman movie. From what I discovered that there were 3 original Candyman movies. In the present day, a decade after the last of the Cabrini towers were torn down, Anthony and his partner move into a loft in the now gentrified Cabrini. A chance encounter with an old-timer exposes Anthony to the true story behind Candyman. Anxious to use these macabre details in his studio as fresh grist for paintings, he unknowingly opens a door to a complex past that unravels his sanity and unleashes a terrifying wave of violence. What I like about the movie is that It's was scary and the old-timer explains the origin of Candyman. There was nothing that I dislike about the movie. It was a wonderful movie and I hope that the 2021 version of Candyman gets a sequel. I'll give this movie a perfect 10 out of 10 stars.

Peele isn't talking about them copying former movies (that's how must Horror remakes are anyway). He was pointing out that Bart literally copyy-pasted most of his post from someone else's review. Which isn't cool.

I feel like my point still stands though. Also can we please use subtitles on movies? Like, this isn't a proper reboot, its supposed to be a sequel to the original unless they changed that.

However, it is stealing, can get you fired if you do it at work, or expelled if you do it in school. Do it in the wrong place and it can even get you sued.

You don't need to promise anything. The reason why plagiarism is bad is because you're passing off other people's work as your own. That has its own problems in academia or industry, but for movie reviews... Well, if you don't care about telling what you think in your own words, then why should anyone else care about reading it? That's not a question you need to answer to anyone but yourself, btw. But the point is if the vast majority of your review is something someone else wrote, then I can just save time by reading their review instead and skipping yours. It will only make fewer people read your own reviews.
