You might think of a dozen ways for him to give her a dino, but you'll have to come up with a strip that says she'd want one to, not just "because she's a beastmaster". Dino donation is nowhere close to my intended answer, but I realized after posting that it could perhaps be pulled off.

The closest thing I can think of is that Tarquin's spirited debate with Elan could have used more actual hitting and more hitting instead of swordplay to go with the yelling.
