If it makes you feel any better, I know you meant this. Cleaning and flavoring are the standard go-tos for prestidigitation. I'm still upset at 5e for nerfing it so much, though.

No. I tried to pick strips that specifically have few references in this thread, but I just found I can't write good questions for them.
As for prestidigitation, I had something very different in mind. I assumed that in #85 13th panel, Elan used Silent Image, and I didn't recall #323. Vaarsuvius uses prestidigitation to get bugs out of her teeth, mentioned in #1013 15th, and to replace spices as mentioned in #1196 last panel.

That's just a way the Giant indicates us that it's an illusion, and he doesn't always use that. Just like how Invisibility somehow has outlines. The espresso maker was an illusion too, and it wasn't drawn transparent.

The coffee maker (which did not do espresso)? That's no reason to think that was an illusion, there's no dweomer when Elan produces it and the V would likely notice a spell being cast. The espresso maker box was also not an illusion, but rather a damp piece of cardboard with the word "espresso" written on it.

Unless I'm missing an espresso maker being present elsewhere in the comic?
