Could be an art error. The shoes are a totally different colour in the second panel, not a slightly different tint.



Hint time: The shoes are worn by a very pretty young woman.

Answer: Miss Bloodsain's shoes change from pink to brown. For some unexplained reason.

Is it the scratch on his left cheek from Roy? Strip one, strip two. It's certainly very different (direct attack vs. blowing up the pyramid), but it doesn't look the same. Also, I would have to break the three strip rule to prove Roy did it.

Yeah no, I thought about that one too but it's hard to argue it being the same wound and that throwing/stabbing with the same dagger would be "very different". I also considered Haley's arrows (in the first dungeon and in Cliffport) but they're not "very different"; they don't strike the same shoulder and the first one doesn't even leave a wound.
