Question about the Starslip (Crisis) Ending-

If you haven't read Starslip Crisis (later just Starslip), by Kris Straub, go read it- it's a good series and a (mostly?) fully complete webcomic. That said,

SPOILERS AHOY:

So I just finished reading Starslip Crisis, and was left with one major question- what happened to von Lucifuge and crew? They were presented as this universe-meddling/destroying threat, and then just kind of... dropped out of the story. Everything else was tied up (impressively neatly, given that the story dealt with both time travel and parallel-universe-hopping), did I just miss something?

I remember that they were a threat until the end? Let me check.

Here was the last time they were mentioned, still as dangerous players. The Crew tries to shake them off, guess it worked.
